Ancient Grains
For the price its very expensive. I had bought the same product at Costco for 10 dollars a bag. Unfortunately, Costco does not carry the product. The grains are healthy and very tasty. I would strongly recommend it for diabetics.

This is an amazing product, nutritious, fast cooking, easy prep, and flavorful and versatile.
I bought this product at Costco 3 years ago. It is absolutely delicious prepared according to package directions. I never say that. I am always certain that anything packaged requires additional seasoning. Not this one. When I ran out, I was sad to learn that it is a seasonal product, why? No answer to the question from the manufacturer, but Amazon has been an excellent year round source. Still not very trusting, I never buy just 1 package. (It freezes well.) This grain blend is great alone, with something served over it, or as an ingredient in soups. Yes, that’s right, I am 100% sold on Medley of Rice and Ancient Grains!

Ancient Grains- Very Valuable
Flavor and Versatility--cooks fast as it says and is great nutritionally!Use for lunch & dinner. Just wish it cots a tad less than it does--MORE expensive than quinoa or brown rice but it IS a combo of REALLY good things!

Best blend of grains on the market
I originally purchased this at Costco and love it, but they don’t always have it available. The Costco price is much better, but I didn’t want to go without this staple in our meals, The blend of grains is perfect and it takes very little time and effort to prepare and turns out perfectly every time.

PERFECT side dish!
I've been searching for this stuff for months! They had it at Costco once, I bought it and fell in love! It's such a quick delicious and versatile side dish! Disappointed that Costco stopped carrying it. THEN I went to Disneyworld in October and had a grain bowl at the T-Rex Cafe... and it was mindblowingly good. So the hunt for these grains returned so I could recreate the dish. SO HAPPY to find this stuff on Amazon. It's delicious and great fuel!

My favorite rice blend
I initially found this at Costco and for months this was a constant item in my Costco shopping cart. Then one day I could no longer find it at my near by Costco store. I have asked family members to check it out in their nearby Costco stories with no luck. I was heart broken if you may describe as this rice blend was a favorite in our household. I checked online and found it both here at Amazon and Walmart.com. The price difference was huge compared to Costco but I just have to go for it as this is truly a healthy rice alternative. I usually cooked this in my rice cooker with low sodium organic chicken stock/broth, add a little unsalted butter then set to to cook on brown rice setting and the rice comes out perfectly... I will buy again but will probably look around where I can buy it much cheaper.

About $1.00 per serving for a premium carb
Wow, it's now $30!! for 3 lbs. I bought it on AMZ a few months ago for a little less, but willing to buy it again now. Here's the deal: I measured out a level cup and weighed it: 6.3 oz. (net of the cup weight). That means a 3 lb. bag has 7.6 cups, OK? Everybody eats different amounts, but when I cook a cup of it, it makes about 4 hearty servings. 7.6 0ne-cup pots of this x 4 servings is 30 hearty servings (maybe 40 servings if for small portion users). So, that's $1.00 per serving (for large serving)! Is that worth it, when a pot of brown rice will cost more like $.20 per serving? For me, the answer is: not every day, but for a treat, or for friends or a potluck, absolutely yes! Much more versatile than just brown rice or quinoa by themselves as far as flavor/texture/appearance goes. No one will ever complain, only smile, and say, "yeah!" So, I'm going to buy it again, and just not think about the Costco days when I bought it for just a fraction of this amount, sigh.
