It's got a very scary appearance but it works like a champ. The curved handle prevents hand fatigue when using it for long periods. I use it to pound tent stakes and chopping wood. It's got enough heft that it's not a typical camping hatchet and can split kindling without fuss. It's out of the box sharp which I appreciate I'm not a big fan of the shallow grind of most blades so recommend a sharpener.

I absolutely love the design of this. It fits perfectly in your hand. I love the silicon guard and the leather one. Very sharpe and the perfect addition to my caping gear.

After using abrasive wheel on head, and stain on handle it’s custom to me! Perfect size for small jobs. A+++

Hefty and solid.

I like to handle the steel sounds of a lighter grade it could be of a finer mix of metals but we’ll do I don’t know how long the edge will hold haven’t had it long enough

The shape, size and contours of the handle make this a perfect fit in my hand.

Handle was a little unusual and prevents handling at the head. But I should have picked that up from the pictures. Exactly as advertised, maybe a bit better, even.
