2 x TRIXES 4-Dial TSA Combination Padlock for Luggage Suitcases and Travel RedHaving already bought a pair of these for holidays decided to get a couple more for locking our rucksacks. They are strong and it is easy to do the combination. Very competitive price too.

I haven't yet tested these on my luggage but first impressions are that they are strong and secure. They have a pleasing heaviness which makes me feel they aren't cheap and easy to break. I chose these because they are four digit codes whereas most I have seen only have three and I wanted to avoid any padlocks with keys as they are too easy to lose when travelling a lot. These locks are just perfect therefore (especially as they are TSA compliant for travelling to the USA).

I bought these as the last time I visited the USA, the customs or security people in Washington decided they had to inspect my hold luggage, and cut off the ordinary padlocks I had fitted to my cases. So I arrived back in UK to find my luggage plastered with labels explaining why my property had been trashed. At least they'll be able to open the locks themselves this time - not that it'll stop some jobsworth delving into my personal stuff!.These padlocks look substantial, and the instructions for setting your specific code number are simple and straightforward, if a little small and difficult to read. I've used them once, for a trip to Europe, and they came through unscathed.

Disappointed with these locks. I cannot get either of them to change the combination. This isn't a major problem as I can still keep them on the 0000 setting and just rotate the numbers and it still locks the lock. Other than that they are very sturdy locks. Would I buy them again, probably not, as I like to have my own choice of combination. If you are not too bothered, then yes I would recommend,

Really easy to set and lock was brilliant for going away

Purchased these combination locks due to a small issue on our last trip away, when we got to the airport I handed the car keys to the driver so he could take the car to secure parking, no problems.But when we got to our hotel some 2000 miles away it dawned on me that I had also handed over the suitcase key as well, BIG Problem, wife, shoes, no access OOOopppps!.Friendly hotel porter arrived with hack saw to cut off the lock, but he couldn't so had to cut through the zip attachment.The upshot, get some of these really good combination locks, they work fine, numbers are clear and easy to use.

Very pleased with these. They have survived only a few flights so far, but I see no reason why they won't last for ages. Nice & heavy and the locking mechanism feels accurate. For £7 a pair I'm not sure you can buy better. I'll be buying a couple more.

My boyfriend and I bought a packet each of these padlocks for our backpacks on a recent trip. While mine both worked perfectly, both of his jammed first time and made it impossible to set up the combination, rendering them completely useless! As we were at the airport when this happened we just shared the other 2, but definitely very annoying. Although my padlocks were fine I wouldnt buy this product again because they were unreliable and not that cheap. We chose to pay the money because we wanted the quality, but it definitely wasnt there!
