This is a cute little instrument - it's not a guitar (as stated in the title) but a ukulele (also stated in the title), which can be properly tuned and even holds its tuning after a while (as with any new instrument, needs to be frequently retuned in the first couple of weeks). If you are a parent who's not played a ukulele or an instrument before, I recommend that you download a free tuner app and look up instruction tutorials on YouTube for how to tune a ukulele.The sound is nice and my 2yo girl loves strumming it and singing to it. It's made of plastic (apart from metal parts for tuning pegs). Comes with a little tutorial book with loads of typos and spelling mistakes. Alongside badly written excerpts on the history of ukulele, how to tune etc, it includes chords and Chinese notation (numbered notation) for some English and Chinese children's tunes, which is nice.My reservation - For the same price you could get a relatively proper basic wooden ukulele. On the other hand, it might just be that plastic is the right choice for kids as it takes more effort to break! 😂 (and my daughter HAS tried, banging it on the floor in a very Rock'n'roll-star manner!). I got it for just under £20 in July 2022 and see that the price now (Sep 2022) is much higher.Bottom line - it's a cute instrument which your toddler will like, and that is actually playable (which is already better than many kids' "instruments"). It seems durable (written almost two months after buying), the design is cute, but is maybe a bit highly priced for its cheap make. Lovely nevertheless.
