Remington MB6550 Vacuum Beard and Grooming Kit

I would have preferred if the trimmer was a little bigger but the vacuum unit is surprisingly good in stopping the hair all our the sink. It is however quiet a large unit.

I must say I was sceptical about whether the vacuum would be strong enough to catch all the little hairs but it really does work. It comes with a variety of attachments which takes care of everything you need for the facial styling of your choice. There is an adjustable grooming shaver for even beard length, a trimmer for going around the edges of the beard (which is also great for any nasal hairs) and a shaver for where you want no hair. The heads change really easily and the little collection pocket for the vacuumed hairs is easy to empty. One thing to remember is not to angle the unit down when changing heads or the hair will come out though. Charged it over two months ago and still going strong.

Cheap for a reason. Vacuum works reasonably well, but if you trim infrequently the longer hairs still end up all over the bathroom. It doesn't trim up under your nose due to the blade guard design, which is actually really poor quality plastic. Mine has cracked at the base of the comb, resulting in an unexpected shearing off of my beard. Now have to trim using a decent quality Babyliss to Grade 2 to not look like a person with issues. Won't be buying again, AMERICAN GIMMICKRY. No doubt with Remington, they'll not honour any warranty so it's getting binned

I bought this beard trimmer last weekend and have been extremely disappointed with it. As somebody else pointed out, for whatever reason it "grabs" hairs regularly as you shave - I cut myself shaving, the first time ever with an electric razor. The attachments also seem to be poor, I have used a "1" length attachment with other beard trimmers for years, however with this one it seems to be far too long, cutting virtually nothing. If you then remove then attachment it will cut OK (ignoring the constant snagging!) but is far too short. Really disappointing so I have returned mine, first piece of electronics I've ever done that with...

great product. i initially bought the philips vaccum one but that was a mistake. this one really does what it says 90% of hair is sucked up in the vacuum and makes it really easy to clean the rest. Case of hair completely detaches which makes it easy to clean and wash without fear of damaging any electrical part. For bigger beards if you want the vacuum to work i recommend using the hair adjustments to cut it down in increments as otherwise the vacuum doesn't have the power to take long hairs or that much qty of hair
