I purchased this grater because my family consumes an above average amount of cheese. I don't want the additives to pre-grated cheese. I searched for the least expensive but best reviewed electric grater and walla, here we are.I was a bit apprehensive about it not being dishwasher safe. Seriously, if I'm buying an electric grater do you really think I'm the kind of consumer that wants to hand wash something? Hardly.It was easy to put together. It was surprisingly exciting. After assembly, I placed the cheese hunk into the feeder and pressed it down. The rush of seeing the now shredded cheese was met with disappointment that it was over so quickly. As I disassembled the grater I tried to think of an excuse to grate more cheese.It took me far less time assembling, grating and then hand washing the grater than it would to grate the cheese that I needed for dinner. This is definitely a keeper in my book.Also, you may want to purchase something to hold the grater cones. Those little devils are sharp. You wouldn't want those rolling around in a drawer.

We stopped buying shredded cheese and began buying blocks from the butcher we now shred it ourselves using my this awesome machine and vacuum seal it.

I’ve only used it once but so far I am very satisfied. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of plastic parts with metal grates.

Doing the work yourself by hand can be a pain, and can also aggravate an RSI or carpal tunnel if you have those issues. An electric grater like this makes grating cheese super easy.This grater is easy to put together and use. It has four included grating cones so you can grate cheese to variable fineness, and you can also slice veggies easily. It also will handle grinding harder foods with ease. There is just one button so you can't mess it up. You just drop the cheese or veggies down the chute, and use the pusher to move it down to the cone. The cone spins and cuts or grates it to the desired setting. That's it! Then you can disassemble it and wash the parts with ease.This thing single-handedly saved my wrists during the holidays. I am very happy I got it and I would recommend it to any foodie out there.

Saved my finger tips and arms! This is a great necessity when it comes to cooking. I mainly use it to shred blocks of cheese which it does without hassle and minimal waste. Works well and easy to clean. Love the multiple size cutting pieces it comes with and easy to use with the button and dispenses right into the bowl. Not very loud and decent counter weight where you can push whatever you're shredding down into.

What an amazing Chinese product. Actually does what it's made to do. I can actually grate and slice cheese, carrots and whatever other veggies I need and the clean up is a breeze.
