these blocks are extremely hard and dry. should i just put them for rats to eat? or do i have to make them wet first?

You need a black box in which to place the blocks . There is a spindle in the box that the blocks thread on to. This box has a 'tunnel' to allow the rats to get access. You should not leave the blocks in the open for other creatures to poison, eg cats, dogs birds squirrels hedgehogs etc. I am not sure whether Amazon sell the boxes but you can get them from Pestexpert. Hope this helps

How long does it take to kill the rats I’ve got decking outside still rats around now there is 2

From eating it takes two to three days for them to die. You must remember to check the poison daily to every other day and fill it up as soon as it has been taken. Once the poison stops being taken, leave it for another week or two and if noting has been taken then the problem has been dealt with.

How many blocks are there in one box? How many rats does one block kill? Can i just buy one box?

There are 15 blocks in one box. One block will kill 1 rodent. The quantity you purchase entirely depends on the size of your infestation.

Yes i am surei have rats as they running in front of me across the chicken run we have put five boxes out and no poison has been touched

They ate all ours but we put it away from the source of food so they ate it on the way, we use a few blocks at a time not sure why they haven’t eaten yours? Maybe they like the chicken feed more?
