For such a cheap price, and quite possibly the easiest fix on a joycon I have done, this should be standard. The metal buckles against the metal rails hold well and don't chip like the default plastic ones do. Simple, effective, and now I don't have a 5 year old dropping the switch when the latch fails. Everyone is happy.

These are great. I dropped my switch and broke the original plastic one, meaning the joycon would pop off easy without pushing the button so I got these as the replacement. They work great, no play in the mechanism anymore and the joycons are secure. Install is moderate, but doable if you take your time.

These finally fixed my joycon rail lock issue. Before this, I had bought a joycon replacement part kit that I also found on Amazon. The lock replacements did not fix my slippery controller issues. However, these parts are manufactured so well, and hold the springs perfectly. I am so happy with this product!
