I ordered these to start teaching my grandkids martial arts and used these to help them get comfortable with using focus, technique and perseverance in training and life. The boards are 3.5MM thick. I use the thinner ones to start out and work up as they get more familiar with technique and follow through. They are good quality and serve the function I use them for. My grandkids like to do knife hand, elbow, punch and front kick techniques when they come over, and we want to have some fun. Again, I don’t make this serious training, it’s about having fun and getting some experience. We also use pads for drills and focus more on blocking first. Plus we use the broken boards for arts and crafts projects.

Ordered two packages of these thin breaking boards as a birthday party activity for children the age of second grade and lower. I wanted to ensure that each kid could break the board, and it worked perfectly! Would not advise these boards if you are trying to practice board breaking for a tournament, but for little kids and those with zero taekwondo experience, these do the trick. I would be gentle with the boards after they arrive, due to their thinness, to ensure they don't break before use.

Most arrived broken or cracked. Very thin flimsy wood. This should not be advertised as wood for use in any martial arts training at all unless a 1 year old is doing it. Terrible.

I ordered these boards for my kids to demonstrate their Taekwondo moves to their friends. They were basically really thin sheets of wood, but since they were easy to break for even friends that didn’t learn Taekwondo, it worked out for us. Will probs go for thicker boards in the future.
