Great bat alternative to the fire hype it has pop

There is no doubt that this is a really nice bat. But it’s important before you buy this bat that you know what your league allows. This is a USSSA certified bat, this is generally only allowed for higher level travel teams. If you or your child is getting this for a school team or a local sign up style team, then this is likely not an eligible bat as those leagues generally only allow USA certified bats. Just make sure you don’t buy this bat and then use it, only to find out it’s not an eligible bat for your league, trust me I did that when my son was younger and it sucks to realize you dropped a lot of money on a bat that can’t be used!That being said, this is a very well made and well constructed bat. If you hit the same ball with a USA certified bat and then this bat, this one will easily go an extra 20 plus feet. The grip is comfortable and feels great in your hands. And it’s not to heavy or to light. Overall great quality bat for a USSSA league!

This is a great bat. Easton makes wonderful bats and we were really excited to try this one out. The grip is amazing and the length is perfect for my son. He really loves this bat!

Just what we needed for my son's coming up baseball season! This bat is awesome! Have already put about 30 hits on it and it is butter! The design and colors are excellent! I would expect no less of the quality and craftsmanship in a bat than from Easton! Highly recommend for your other baseball players out there!

The bat is nice but it isn't steady. Its very top heavy and made my son dip every single time he swung it. Which resulted in all pop ups.The bat seems to be well made and the grip is nice. After getting used to it, maybe we will have better luck with it.

Easton has been making excellent metal bats for decades. I used them when I was young and now my kids are using them in their lives. I purchased the 28" -10 for my 7 year old. He's pretty tall for his age and it's got some room for him to grow into. It has a premium price, but this is a premium bat. Compared to what we were using:This bat has a nice cushioned grip that absorbs shock and fits in a child's hands well.The ball does seem to jump a little more off of the barrel when he strikes it solidly. Even mis-hits tend to travel a little further, a lot of forgiveness for not squaring the ball up just right. That's really good for kids just learning.My only hesitation on this bat is that the "USSSA" stamp is not large and visible like on other bats. I had to show an umpire the bat (because this one is so new, apparently he's not familiar with it).

We got tired of composite bats cracking and not being usable below a certain temperature, so we tried this aluminum bat. My 12U son likes it a lot for fall and winter league. It's hard to compare using this in the winter to using a composite bat in the summer, but it seems to be as good while being much more durable.

Easton makes a good baseball bat. I love the look and feel of the MAV1. It’s easy to grip and has the right weight distribution. I grew up playing with a wooden bat. This is our first aluminum bat. It’s much lighter and that takes some getting used to. The feedback feels very different. It’s not as clear when I’m hitting the sweet spot. Sometimes I make a good hit and don’t feel like it’ll be good ahead of time. Overall, I’m finding it easy to use.
