Ferplast Sippy 4674 Plastic Bottle Medium 300cc, clear

I never thought you could have strong feelings about a water bottle until I bought this one.I have a pair of much-loved lady rats, and their cage is in my bedroom. This is fine. What is not fine is the amount of noise their old classic bottle would make as they drank - I love my ratties, but I'm a light sleeper and I really really really don't love being woken up at 4am because of the tap-tap-tap noise. I bought this specifically because I wanted a quieter bottle for them and I'm happy to say that thanks to buying this, I haven't slept so well in months.I picked the medium size and after ordering the bottle arrived quickly and was simple to install - my rats have a traditional wire cage and all I had to do was wiggle the nozzle of the bottle through the bars (I'd advise placing it higher than you usually would as it points downwards - I had to adjust mine a few times as it was too low for my poor ratties), then reach down into the cage and screw in the yellow plastic piece. Done!My rats got to grips with this pretty quickly with no difficulty, mine doesn't drip or leak despite this being mentioned a lot in other reviews, and this thing is reaaaally, truly quiet. Blissfully so. Because of the flat front and the grey holder there's no noise from it wiggling around against the bars like the old sippy bottle did. I can sleep through it and can't hear it at all with my headphones in, and best of all my rats seem to like it. I think I might even buy a backup.

After having some of these for almost a year I finally decided to review them. Brilliant while they last. Sadly three out of my six have broken within the last couple of weeks. Would still reccomend them would just say keep a spare on hand. One emptied its contents over the cage and two have stopped allowing water out so check regularly :)

These are so much better than the sippy bottles with a ball. Hardly ever drips, and even survives a car journey with not much spillage! Fills from the top so you don't need to remove it from the cage every time. Drinking spout comes apart to clean, but don't throw away the plastic 'spanner' or you wont be able to take it apart. Has both suckers or a screw mount included depending on where you need it placed. If using the screw mount through cage bars the whole bottle slides out leaving the fittings in place so I don't need to reposition it every time I wash it. Medium size was big enough for my guinea pig. I really would only ever use one of these from now on and highly recommend this item.

The design is very nice and the fact that can be attached everywhere is really good. However it leaks a lot, and therefore it is not suitable for the job... I put a small bowl under it and over night about 60 ml of water leaked into the bowl... the cat learnt to use it at once but as it leaks he prefers to drink from the bowl!.... I bought this bottle because my cat drags the water bowl everywhere and bottle was a good solution for the mess, unfortunately it leaks as other reviews commented as well.Update: I moved it to the bath where it can leak without any mess around...and my cat drinks from it.. he loves it... I added 1 more star.

I got this to make it easier to fill my hamsters water up as the bottle sits on the outside of the cage. I like for him to have two bottles, as he has been known to knock one over (he's a bit of a chunk).The instructions looked a bit complicated but really weren't. I set it up on the outside of the cage, filled it up, then watched my hamster ignore it for weeks... And only use the one which is a faff to refill. Awesome.Finally the water started going down. I watch him do it. He'll drink from one, then the other. They're both from the same tap Dave! Its like he's sampling from a drinks trolley.Not the brightest furball.

Easy to attach and refill however it drips constantly despite efforts to stop this. The cage has been soaking and the guinea pigs always thirst. Massively disappointed !!

Best water bottle I have found

Drinking spout is quite large so you need bar spacing of about 2cm for it to fit through. It's fine on a Savic Royal suite but doesn't go through the bars on a Freddy. You can fit it on the Freddy but you would have to detach the drinking spout each time you want to clean it or to replace the water. You can top it up ok but really you need to give fresh water every day so doing this would be a complete pain. If your bar spacing is much under 2cm I'd go for something with a narrower spout.Update. Recently bought a couple more but both have dripped badly- not from the metal sipper but from between the plastic of the spout and the metal part. Fixed with some silicone grease on the threads but the older ones didn’t drip at all: don’t know if the manufacturing has changed...

J'ai 2 cochons d'inde dont 1 super casse pieds qui tire et mord le biberon peut importe le modèle à croire qu'il fait exprès pour les casser. En ayant marre d'acheter des bibs toutes les semaines, j'ai opté pour ce modèle largement commercialisé que j'avais déjà pu utiliser pour d'autres chons dans ma jeunesse.Y'a pas photos, il est parfait. Entièrement démontable pour le nettoyage, facile et rapide, ne coule pas d'une goutte si tout va bien, attention cependant, si vous avez des fuites, vérifiez qu'il n'y a pas un poil dans le mécanisme interne en démontant la tige piece par piece comme sur la notice . L'embout en plastique fourni pour devisser la tige du réservoir est vraiment nul par contre, ça se tord et s'abîme très facilement donc j'utilise une pince pour faire tourner à la place ce n'est qu'un détail.Ce bib reservoir est vraiment pratique et hygiénique au quotidien, j'utilise un goupillon en silicone acheté à Auchan c'est le top 👍Le système est ingénieux et élaboré pour les rongeurs, impossible de ronger quoi que ce soit maintenant et toc ! Ils ont juste à téter l'embout en métal et ça coule direct dans leur bouche. Il peut y avoir quelques gouttes sur les surfaces, ça vient surtout de la manière de boire de vos animaux. Certains font attention, d'autres sont juste des cochons...d'inde ! 😁Conclusion : mon modèle fétiche ad vitam eternam 😘Je recommmmmmmaaaaaaande parce que grâce à ce petit bijou, je n'ai plus à RE commander !👍😁

Le seul qui convient pour les furets! Il est solide, pratique et facile à remplir.

The product is okay : the valve is good quality but the rest of the bottle, not so much. The plastic is very thin and seems very cheap. So the first one I bought was completely cracked the first time my piggies managed to make it fall on the floor. I ordered a new one because I still liked the product enough: it is much quieter than other bottles. But I received it damaged, and then the replacement they sent me was even MORE damaged! So I would not recommend buying it, unless you like to gamble. If you choose to buy it, may the odds be ever in your favour and may you receive an intact one ;)

Bought this to replace the crappy plastic bottle that came with the cage I got. Everything about this water bottle is phenomenal, and it works amazing for my dwarf bunny. The way it mounts to the cage is solid compared to just about anything else out there. The tank also has a good size opening so I am able to pop in some ice cubes for them every once in a while!I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again and again, and I plan to get one more in the next couple days as I am getting a second bunny. I will also recommend this water bottle to anyone and everyone. It is SO worth the wait for them to ship it (if you live in the U.S.A like I do). And they even shipped it in half the time I was told it would take. (It took ~3 weeks instead of the 6-7 weeks I was told at purchase.)The price is fantastic, shipping time isn't bad and the product is well worth the wait. So don't wait, pick one up!
