Product Description Blush and Bronzer comes in both loose powder and pressed compacts. Both options are the same, some prefer a loose powder while others find them messy so like a pressed compact better. These also have Silica added to give the skin a fresh smooth appearance. Bronzers are non sparkly but offer a healthy sheen to the skin. Mineral Makeup is cosmetics that are solely or mostly made from earth's natural minerals. These are rocks in their solid form, then milled and processed into the powder that is safe for cosmetic use. Not all mineral makeup is the same. There are some natural mineral powders that Doll Face is free from. For example Doll face does not contain Bismuth Oxychloride, a natural mineral but is well known to be a major skin irritant. Paraben Preservative's, although a highly effective preservative, studies have shown major health concerns after long term exposure to humans. What goes into Doll face products Plain Mica. This is like the “flour” in a cake. It makes up the bulk of foundations, blush and bronzers. Totally harmless. Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide. These are 2 minerals that offer sun protection. And they both offer opaqueness in makeup. The more you add, the more heavy the product. Magnesium Myristrate. This mineral offers adhesion and slip to a product. Boron Nitride. This is a top quality high-end mineral. Very expensive but will give products a luxury feel and also offers slip and adhesion. Silicones. Silicones are used for pressing powders into compacts, and in primers. They can offer a film forming action and also are water repellant. Silicones used include Dimethicone and Cyclopentasiloxane. Harmless for our skin and health. Iron oxides. These give the colour to products. Along with coloured Mica. Iron Oxides are a natural mineral. Flat matte thick powders. Cannot be used alone as offer no slip and little adhesion. Silica. This is a powder that is sheer and silky. It is a line blurer, so when applied over makeup makes skin look flawless and smooth.
