these things are awesome. they are so much better than the models that have the pointy ends attached (like the pso-rite.) the free form design of these allow you to adjust them specifically to your body— everyone’s hip bones are slightly different and in general the psoas muscle is a bit illusive. I am a licensed massage and bodywork therapist and I recommend them to my clients. I love to use them against a wall for posterior shoulders and glutes too. I did wash them with water and castile soap upon arrival bc they were slightly dusty like other gym rubber products can be, but didn’t find that detrimental at all to their efficacy. they are durable, the right size, firm but not sharp, and really do provide a lot of pain relief and muscular release. I use them all the time.

Love these!! I’ve been treating my own trigger points for years and have many balls, rollers and other gadgets. I bought these to target the psoas and love them. They are a good size and weight (not too heavy, but not flimsy) so that you don’t feel like you will tip them over too easily. I prefer standing against a wall to use these and they work great for one psoas at a time, obliques, abdomen, glutes, pecs, quads, etc, etc. They also do great on the hamstrings and calves when sitting on the floor. I catch myself often using them against the side/top corner of my kitchen island to get my obliques, abdominal area and anything else to quickly relieve pressure. For some reason I put off any kind of “self-care” that requires me to stop and lay down, so these are great to have on the countertop and grab and use against something as I walk by. These being two separate pieces allow much more versatility than other psoas devices that have two connected pieces. I’m happy!

Wife says: my darn R side psoas muscle pulls my lumbar out of alignment. I laid a foam pillow or a folded up blanket on top of the rubber pain relief things and try to relax as best I can. It puts my L2 L3 L4 back into alignment so the design is perfect. The pain relief is practically instant. It's super easy to use. These were a decent price compared to the credit thin plastic ones on the market, these will not break or crack. The size is perfect. These are rubber so they stay put wherever they are placed.

Works well, it does require some mental focus to allow yourself to fully relax and let this work as it should.

PRO- compact and perfect for traveling. No other product available like this. Works as good as the competition, though height is shorter.CON - made of rubber and heavier than necessary. Would be better if made out of tough plastic. I'd give this a 5 otherwise. But it's still a game changer for traveling and you can throw this in your luggage, no problem.

Very well made product. By applying gentle body weight pressure, you can adjust how deep you want to get into the fascial layers. I have been working in the physical therapy field for 30 years and this is one of my favorite finds.

The product is wide hefty I wanted it for release of my POAS not good for my small frame.

A friend had recommended another product for helping release tension in leg, hip, back area. It was a one piece with two nubs for pressure points.I love having two individual hard rubber pressure point tools. You don’t have to worry about a single piece pressure point being in the wrong place, especially while working on your front hip area.I can work on each leg at different points that need attention vs a one piece limits. My girlfriend also uses them and like them better than single size since her dimensions are different than mine.If you check bags while flying they are suitable for travel. They are heavier than they look and the noon-slip rubber can be used on most surfaces.Highly recommended.
