After struggling for many weeks with our old control I thought to look on Amazon for another. This one is exactly the same model so I ordered it. It arrived a day earlier than expected, swapped the batteries over and it took over. Simple things simple minds etc but we are so pleased with it and not having to wave it about to pause the tv anymore or watching ads because we can't get the control to work

Good Value Remote
Good price for a replacement remote. Bought the last one about 2 years ago but a couple of the buttons had recently started to stick a bit (overuse and kids have probably helped to cause this!). Happy to purchase from this company again.

Generally Works Well
This works well and overcomes the frustration of using the original device, where several keys had stopped working. The only slight drawback is occasionally it doesn't work, but this seems to be a poor connection in the battery compartment, fixed by checking the batteries are fully inserted.

Excellent Replacement, No Issues So Far!
I was sceptical about purchasing this remote control handset as I had been badly bitten by previous purchases of non-original copies of other items, such as replacement phone batteries. In this case I am happy to be proven wrong.I still have my original Hitachi remote and the GRC replacement is made of a different plastic material and the buttons are also of different materials. However, while the form may be different the function of the remote is great. I expected certain functions not to work, but again I was proved wrong and all the button functions are just as you'd want and expect.All in all, so far I have not found any problems with this product and so am happy to give five stars.

Why did I not get one sooner!
Purchased to replace Hitachi HDR255 remote as many buttons no longer function. Looks almost identical to original remote. Buttons all the same. Batteries in and away we go! Feels like I have a new freeview box now I have a fully operational remote!

Can't fault this!
Bought as replacement for well used original remote which some buttons had ceased to work due to age. Great buy and at an ideal price, worth considering rather than upgrading your free view box! Works like for like and as good quality as the original.
