Many reviews question the thickness, surface, and warping, but they are what you should expect.Thickness : Baltic birch plywood is manufactured to metric standards, so it is 3mm thick, but is sold in the US as 1/8 inch thick because that's closest to the size we're familiar with. I don't think it's possible to buy 1/8 Baltic birch plywood.Surface: Baltic birch plywood is defined by a grading system. The pictures on Amazon showing knot free and blemish free surfaces are misleading. The grade of this plywood is supposed to have a certain amount of blemishes. The eight boards in my package showed fewer blemishes than I expected, so I was lucky this time. Baltic birch plywood is used for furniture in Europe but the 1/8th and 1/4 inch thick boards are too thin for furniture and are used where they won't show, like drawer bottoms and rear panels, so blemishes are expected. Those boards would probably be rated b/b. These boards are b/bb, with bb being the better side.Warping: the 1/8 and 1/4 inch panels are thin and are very likely to warp. I doubt if it's possible to make these panels so that they can't warp. If they came warped, or become warped before you use them, you can try dipping a sponge in hot water and wetting the concave side. Then put weights on it and let it dry in the sun. Do it again if necessary and you should get a flat board.I think the boards I received comply with the written descriptions of them. The photos of blemishes free boards are misleading, although most of my boards were blemish free or had very small ones. The quality was as expected and the price was good.

I made some signs for my nieces and found the product easy to use.

I make small art boxes and often use baltic birch plywood for my box bottoms, with or without veneer. 1/8 inch plywood is notoriously difficult to find, and when you do, it can be extremely warped. I was very pleased with this 8 pack of 6x12 sheets. The B side is excellent and suitable for finishing. The BB side is almost as good and quite useable. The entire pack was dead flat. The precut 6x12 size is convenient for small work. I will definitely be stocking up for use on my smaller boxes.

I got this wood for a Do-It-Yourselfer project in my house. Nice wood! Since I'm gonna need to cut it for my project, I was willing to pay for delivery & accept the fact that it was NOT shipped by Amazon, which would cover it with free returns if you're an Amazon Prime customer.Also - as a DIYer - I know that I need to spread a thin layer of glue on the wood before I cut it, so that it doesn't crack or splinter.Loses 1*.

Cuts and engraves well with my glowforge

I snagged a box of this Baltic Birch plywood for use in a laser cutter. For that purpose, once it finally arrived, it works very well. I hit the boards with a strong backlight and only found a couple of places where the glue was pretty thick, so I marked them to be cautious where I hit it with the laser. Otherwise, very impressed with the surface presentation. Be aware, one side always looks better than the other, so pay attention before you start cutting or crafting.I dinged them two stars because of the shipping delay. I ordered with Prime shipping and it was scheduled to arrive Friday. On Friday, I got an email that it wouldn't ship until Monday and would arrive until the following Wednesday. It actually ended up shipping Saturday and arrived Tuesday.Don't offer it as a Prime item if you can't meet the Prime shipping requirements.

Nice clean finish, but every board comes warped (not perfectly flat). Disappointing. Won't order again.
