Perfect, But Discontinued By Manufacturer
Here is another example of a perfect product that was so good it was discontinued by the manufacturer. This is in keep with the "millennial" mindset of "oh, let's try this", which usually makes things worse. When will mankind ever learn "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

Most comfortable headphones I have used. Superb Sound
The negative reviews here are interesting to me. I have tried and used extensively many different brands of headphones from various companies (Senn's, Sony, Koss, and so on). I also have several Bose models, including the on ear ones that came out after these. Yes, these are pricy. All bose products are somewhat overpriced. However, these are the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. They give your ears really good clearance, fit well, without a too tight spring crushing your skull or a not tight enough skill to remain on while sealing enough to get the base response. Soundwise, I know of no headphones I've ever used that sound better than these. AND, they clearly sound better than any of the Bose noise cancellation models that are twice as much. (They also do decent job of passive noise cancellation.) If I am listening to music for pure enjoyment, these are the ones I grab.As for the reviews saying they are flimsy, that has not been my experience at all. In fact, these seem so well made that I have trouble understanding such a comment. They seem very sturdy to me, and they have been used A LOT, including for travel, just put into my briefcase without anything around them to protect them.If you like great sound and are going to wear headphones for long periods of time, I do not know what product out there can beat these. The comparable "on ear" Triport model from Bose (I also have) are much less comfortable and I personally can only keep them on for about an hour before my ears are complaining of the physical discomfort. Sound is good on those "on ear" ones as well, though, but certainly not better as these.)Just ordered a second pair for the office. Have also given a pair to my niece (who loves them). These are so good.

Great sound and light weight, worth every penny.
I tried a friends pair of Bose and finally decided to buy a pair. Actually I bought two pair, one for work and one for home. I actually got my wife to try them and she likes them very much when listening to music on her iPad. Excellent sound and light weight so you can wear them all day (work).

Low end blown
Hey I ordered these headphones refurbished. I’ve had a couple sets in the past. On this set the low end frequency speakers are blown on both sides. Whoever owned these phones in the past must have never taken them off full volume. Thanks for the poor quality sound. Whoever refurbished and passed, these phones, through inspection might need to get their ears checked. Thanks

Excellent Headphones!
I've owned many headphones over the years but this is the best pair I've ever owned. The sound quality is excellent, they are very comfortable for long periods of time, and they are lightweight. They make a nice seal around the ears that really reduces outside noise and this has the added advantage of not needing the top bar pressed against your hair to make them stay on your head. They also come with a long cord, an important feature when trying to use them in a larger room for, say, watching movies. The other reviews all warned about durability but I've owned these for nearly a year and have shoved them into a cramped briefcase every day and nothing has worn or broke. I'm not sure how much more durable you can get than that. The only downside to these headphones is the relatively high price but I think you get quite a bit for the money.Overall, this is an excellent pair of headphones and worth the price tag.

Regarding the Best Headphones Available
Before purchasing these headphones, I spent just about 2 months shopping around in stores to find the best ones. My checklist was simple: 1) Great sound. 2) Noise canceling. These sound so simple but when put against the test of one of the world's most pickiest people, only one pair stood up to the challenge; Bose. The price, at first, seems like a lot to handle; but the moment you wrap them around your ears and you hear music as if it were the first time to see the sunset behind a mountain on a late November day, the price is the furthest thing from your mind. Happy shopping; and remember, Bose knows.
