Whisbear The Humming Bear with Cry Sensor (Pink)

We got this product as our baby settled immediately with white noise and as other reviewers have said we wanted to reclaim our phones! We had a 69p app that also had a cry sensor therefore the price of this bear seemed rather excessive.The bear itself is nothing special and fundamentally is there to play white noise. Quite frankly I don't need a very expensive bear to do that so I would like to think another company will come along and produce a far far cheaper product that gives customers the white noise with cry sensor without the need of the bear. Let's face it, white noise is there to help newborns who are too young to have any interest in a bear sat wrapped around their cot as they're trying to sleep!That brings me onto the cry sensor. This is fundamentally flawed as when we would truly need the white noise to kick in is in the middle of the night when the baby stirs. This does not do this because it will only activate within a 3 hour window therefore is only useful for naps and not during the night. Had this actually worked as it suggests I would still consider it vastly overpriced but the actual product would do as you would expect. The cry sensor is so flawed that I really just have a £40 bear that plays white noise!

We purchased this for use with our 2nd child as we wanted to reclaim our iPad!!!We have used white noise for both our boys, and always used the free iPad apps that are around. This time round we decided to try and find a white noise product so we could reclaim the iPad, and after looking at a few we chose whisbear.We chose this one because:- the white noise goes on for 40 mins, more than long enough to settle our baby for naps/bedtime- the cry sensor that kicks in for 20mins when they stir- it looks like (and is!) a baby's toy and is baby safe, unlike some plastic box devices that I wouldn't be massively keen on leaving within reach of a baby that can chew and grab.We have found that having the white noise kick in when he stirs is much more effective than having it on constantly, and our son now knows that when he's laid in his bed with the bear on and his comforter, it's time for sleep, so is a great sleep association.Would wholeheartedly reccomend!!!!!

I highly recommend whisbear. We purchased whisbear when our little girl was one week old (she is now 3 months) we started to use it straight away for night times. She always falls to sleep within 10 minutes and if she crys during the night it settlers her back to sleep. She has been sleeping 10-12 hours straight through from 6 weeks and if she wakes its whisbear to the rescue. We also put whisbear on when myself and husband go to bed. It really helps in getting us to sleep and a well rested sleep, it works on both of us. I kid you not it will be missed once little one moves into her own room. We have it placed on the side of her cot. I have recommended whisbear to all my friends. Love whisbear it's the best purchase with have made

This is an expensive product but I don't regret paying a bit extra. I'm not going to pretend it was some kind of magic solution to my daughter's iffy sleeping but it definitely helps, especially for naps in our noisy flat. It does go through batteries quite quickly but sometimes it's on and off all night so hardly surprising.

We've been using it for 6 months since our first child was born. The white noise soothes him and he loves it. It also blocks out other noises around him when he sleeps during the day. The greatest thing is that it got a sensor and will switch on whenever he cries or there is a sudden loud noise around which may wake him. We are so happy we bought this product. He also loves to play with the tag attached on the side. Now he can't go to sleep without it.

All good with a production, didn't come with a bag tho

It doesn't work as a soother as my baby doesn't respond to the noise that is similar to a hairdryer - odd as she does stop crying at the sound of an actual hairdryer!!

I cant imagine my life without Whisbear. This bear do the great job during the night. It's very useful and I love the design. Works really good. My little boy don't want to go sleep without it. Great product.
