We were looking for cotton feel [not sheen and not heavy] with a modern texture, this cover hit the mark 100% and cheaper than another fashion brand! This item was beautifully made and esthetics looked beautiful. Subtle beauty. Love it.

Looks nice, but shrinks. maybe is needed to iron. I have not since I do not have the time.

I very excitedly ordered this Vera Wang - King Duvet Cover Set. I loved how elegant the gauzy white looks. It arrived pretty quickly. And then...They're charging almost $180 for this? Oh no no no.The gauze-type fabric is only on one side. What?! The backside of the duvet and pillow covers is plain white cotton. The nicely textured fabric is only on the fronts. This is called "selling your brand name to someone else who will make inferior products but get a lot of money for them because they are your brand." I am super disappointed to see product of this inferior quality from Vera Wang.I cannot recommend this set. It is too plain to warrant an exception to its exorbitant cost. Save yourself some money; choose another less expensive white textured set.

I have been looking for a white bedding set, and this one checked all my boxes: classic but not too plain, 100% cotton, quality brand.The texture is really beautiful and adds some interest to the look. It is a fresh take on classic white. The solid percale side has a nice crisp cotton feel, although it is a bit thin. The textured side is not as soft, so it makes sense that it is not on both sides.There are plastic buttons that can be undone to slip in an insert, and they are easy to open but not the highest quality. There are also ribbon ties in the corners. I live in Florida and since it is warm here, I am just using the duvet cover without an insert right now. This actually has a nice weight. It is lighter than a blanket, but a bit heavier than a double sheet.The duvet cover and shams came out of the wash beautifully and were fairly wrinkle free. The instructions say to machine wash cold on the delicate cycle and tumble dry low. If you prefer a smoother, more pressed look, the label says a low iron can be used. They can't be dry cleaned.The listing says that the duvet cover is 107" X 92", but I measured it at approximately 100" X 80" after washing and without an insert. I think it might stretch out a bit more with an insert, but the sizing is a bit confusing. It just covers my 12" thick mattress on the sides. I think this is a bit small for my current bed which also has a boxspring, but it should work better for the more modern mattress that I'm planning on getting soon.Overall, I would recommend this set if the size works for your bed.

This Vera Wang King Duvet Cover Set is a nice, neutral set. The duvet is heavier than I thought it would be. I like that there are ties in the corners to keep the insert (not included) in place. I also like that the opening at the bottom is larger than the one on my last duvet, which makes it easier to put in the insert. I do wish there were ties in the middle between the corners to help keep the duvet secured even more. It’s hard to align it along the top edge (opposite of the opening), and it can look a little weird when the plain cotton bottom gets pulled up several inches, where it stands out next to the textured top. It’s hard to explain but please see the picture. It’s just mildly annoying. I also don’t like how it’s plain cotton by the buttons, but it’s probably too hard to make buttonholes in the textured part, so I understand why it’s like that. I like that the duvet is cotton, but it feels like a low thread count. The bottom is rougher than I expected, especially at this price point. Overall I do really like the set and think it looks really nice; there are just a few things that bother me, especially given that this is a name brand item.Update on 3/10/2023:I’ve been using this set for about three and a half months now and wanted to update my review. The plain cotton bottom being pulled up onto the top of my comforter is no longer just mildly annoying, it drives me up the wall. I use a down comforter which might contribute to this problem, because it’s heavy and fluffy and is possibly pulling at the duvet. Maybe a regular flat comforter would help the duvet stay in place. But the plain bottom is constantly being pulled onto the top, even when the corners are tied to the comforter. It often is pulled up by a foot or even more, which ruins the tidy look of the bed. I have to try to straighten the duvet out every single morning, and it takes me longer to do that than it does to make the rest of my bed and arrange 10+ pillows on it. If they had just made the top and bottom the same, it wouldn’t look as bad and maybe I could just leave it. But they chose not to do that, and I get annoyed over it every time I have to struggle to make it look right. I am dropping my rating from four stars to two stars because of this.

The outer material of this duvet is not soft at all. After washing in cold water it has shrunk so now my insert isn't fitting inside of the duvet at all. The pillow shams aren't soft either so put them on your decorative pillows, not the ones you use. Having the Vera Wang name I was expecting more and was let down.

Being Vera Wang, I expected this duvet set to be beautiful in person and it did not disappoint.I absolutely love the look and feel of this set, we decided to use this over our goose down comforter and it fit beautifully, easily stays in place with the added ties, and is comfy to sleep with at night
