I read the reviews before purchasing and thought I'd take the risk of ordering. I love the versatiliy it offers. Yes it really does close down to the size of a console table and plenty big enough to act as a good sized desk. Used fully extended at Christmas. Mechanism is smooth. I was able to extend the table alone. So simple we now extend and close down daily at mealtimes. I love having my room back after dinner! I purchased folding chairs to compliment the table, so all stores away after use. Down side when seating full capacity the middle leg does take up leg room and quite bulky looking. We managed to get 2 dinning chairs either side of the middle leg and used a bench for the children. Would not have been practical for eating as shown in the advertising photograph. Downside the price. I did find product cheaper elsewhere. £300 is quite steep, but I guess you pay for its versatility. Arrived within 3 days of ordering. Was concerned when it arrived as the packaging box was torn and damaged. Product inside ok, only one small dent which we can live with. There are lots of parts to put together and a mind boggling amount of fixings but it is worth the effort. I would recommend this product.

I've had this table a while now. Spend ages looking for this type of table that fitted daily in a small area yet could exstend when needed. This didnt disappoint at all. Looks great and easy too clean. Down sides that we dont find a problem with... took awhile to put together as must line up spot on. ..... its heavy but sides well coinciding.... the extra panels have no storage and there heavy.... the legs can get in the way.But it's a great buy non the less at such a good price. My order came quickly too. I love this table.

It is very a very heavy table even without most of the extensions. We bought it as we like having dinner parties with a lot of friends and family and it is perfect. The only on annoying thing that I didn’t think about are the feet of the table. They are quite large so it is a bit awkward to get sits around the table but it is quite a cheap table so I can’t really complain! When not in used we just keep it in the bedroom as a “make up” table.

The table was delivered very quickly. It was very easy to assemble. I built it on my own in under 2 hours, some people may have differing opinions on this as I have years of DIY experience in self assembly furniture.The table movements is very good. It opens and closes with ease. It is heavy and therefore sturdy when opened. A little less so when closed. This seems to be the perfect small/large dining room table.Thank you

Despite being sent the wrong colour (I asked for white and recieved light oak), i love this table. Recently had a dinner party with 8 people and was then able to put the table away and give us more space for mingling. You do need to fun somewhere to store the extra pieces (mine are behind my sofa), but it's really quick and simple to extend and put away. Recommended.

This table is exactly what I was looking for.It was easy to assemble, I was able to assemble it on my own.It does take a bit of time as there are a lot of pieces but the instructions are clear and if you follow them carefully there should be no issues.I can extend it on my own with no problems whatsoever.I haven't yet used it as a dining table as I haven't had the need yet and it's currently being used as a console table.It seems very sturdy once extended.All in all I am very happy I purchased.

Once the initial set up has been done, it is very easy to extend when you need it. We were absolutely thrilled with it - it easily seats 12 and is pretty sturdy.

The finish is not quite as good as I had hoped, and the whole thing would be better on wheels or a more easily moveable foot of some kind. at the moment, it judders when moved. The central pole travels along with the extending side, so one foot has to hold it in place to give the whole thing balance.
