Probably the best iron on the market . I love cotton bedding but it is fiendishly hard to get the creases out , this iron smooth glides over cotton and really gets deep creases out . Marvellous. I also like a heavy iron in my hand , if you are elderly , maybe this iron would be a bit sturdy for you , I know my elderly mother would say it is too heavy for her , especially if you are doing a marathon family iron . I love it and give it 5* .

Very disappointed with this purchase. It is totally useless for use in the UK as it has a plug compatible for the US market. Wish that I had read the reviews as several people have had the same problem.

This item is unsuitable for the United Kingdom market. It states it is made in Germany online but the packaging tells a different story.Also the plug and wattage states it is only suitable for the USA or Canada. A very poor show from Amazon

This iron is clearly advertised as ‘made in Germany’ but it is manufactured in Indonesia. Worse, it cannot be used in the UK on a 240 volt supply. It is made for the American market. I am baffled as to the logic for importing it from the USA. At least I have been offered a full refund.

This product is NOT made in Germany it’s made in China for the US and Canada but the most dangerous thing is that it’s 120 volts with a US plug totally useless for the UK market and believe this has cropped up in previous reviews but Amazon continues to sell this item.

Should not be on sale in the United Kingdom. May be Amazon should be prosecuted for selling something unfit for use in the UK.

Por un poco más de dinero di el salto y sin duda me quedo con esta opción tambien siento que ahorra más energía, aunque no he medido el consumo de forma minuciosa. El golpe de vapor es muy bueno, inclusive de manera vertical. Hasta el momento no tengo queja. Gran compra.

The quality and effectiveness of this is top notch. I had a cordless and it was useless at keeping its heat. This is professional level, no water explosion even after pressing the steam and sitting it up. Holds heat and glides across clothing. So happy I finally did research to find a good iron. It’s the little things that add friction to life if they are substandard. This makes a chore something quick and easy. Highly recommend.

I got this iron two years ago on Amazon Resale, listed as Used-Mint, for $38. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect from a used appliance. It surprised me. It still works exactly like it did the day it arrived. I use it every day on dress shirts and pants. I give it 5/5 stars for the following reasons: 1. Shelf life (two years of daily use and it hasn't slowed down one bit) 2. No mineral buildup (I use regular tap water. Previous irons I've owned always ended up with mineral deposits scarring the plate over time. This one hasn't. The soleplate still glides smooth.) 3. Value ($38 for something that performs like new, used or not, is hard to beat) One small issue has popped up recently: The switch cap on top sometimes pops loose and the steam cuts out. It's not a dealbreaker. I just press it back down, it clicks into place, and steaming picks right back up. It doesn't really bother me. I would recommend this iron, especially on Amazon Resale. Buying it used clearly didn't shorten its life. I would buy again.
