Hi Tiffany Yes it lasts and I do believe it is authentic. I put mine on this morning at 7:30AM. Just smelled my wrist and I can still smell it at 3:30PM. I was very happy to find a supplier in the States, as I love this perfume. The vendor was also very helpful when I had a question. I would say Go for It! I'm a happy customer and will be returning.

The last time I bought this it was the men's cologne and not the Donna women's. I didn't return but just have to my husband. Is this the women's scent

I am actually glad you asked, this does NOT smell like the scent that I bought when we were in Florence. I could not put my finger on it, but it smells differently. It must in fact be a men's cologne.
