Below is my original review. While I loved my Chefman pressure cooker, it did have a glitch and died, but the seller was amazingly prompt and soon I will be reunited with this fabulous appliance. I am delighted with all aspects of this machine--it's easy to use, totally versatile, easy to clean and has made cooking fun again...I'm delighted with this purchase and even more delighted with the customer service I received. I still wouldn't buy the warranty from the third-party seller--that was a waste of money and a good chunk of time, but I would absolutely buy this appliance from this seller.This was great—for the three times it worked. Completely died (and beware of the warranty that’s offered—totally useless—how can it not cover it not working? Isn’t that the point of a warranty?).

Having never been around pressure cookers I had some trepidation when I ordered this. People kept telling me I had to get an Instapot, so I did the research and the Chefman reviews and comments sold me to at least give it a try. It arrived earlier today, packaged nicely and on time. I took it out of the box, my husband alongside as we looked at each other, now what? We read the user guide, then I got on Pinterest to find recipes. I decided to try the pulled barbeque chicken, which was super easy. Oh my goodness! The flavor and tenderness of the chicken were amazing. Done in 35 minutes. Clean up was super easy as well. The ONLY thing I struggled with was the venting part. (On this machine it is called exhaust.) The guide was very clear to keep your hands and face away from the vent hole. I was careful to do that, but I had NO idea how much pressure would be released! It was loud and high pressure, which I wasn't expecting. I jumped back and hurt my already hurt shoulder, which gave me a good laugh at myself. I have a feeling this new appliance and I are going to be the best of friends. As I said, I was so intimidated to even try this thing as I had never been around pressure cookers. Face your fears and try it, I'm glad I did. Be sure to read the guide though, it eased the nerves.

After looking at several 2qt pressure cookers, we purchased the Chefman because the product description stated it was 1000 watts. It is not, it is 600 watts, hence the 4 stars. That aside it did a great job and was easy to clean. It is very easy to use and comes with easy to understand directions. It is the perfect size for 1-2 people, or if you already have a larger pressure cooker and are just looking for something smaller this is for you. It allows you to slow cook, adjust pressure levels and has the standard preprogrammed features. Using the Saute feature you can preheat your cooker to help speed the cooking process. You can use the Saute feature to brown meats but you must allow it to heat up before putting in your items ( the low wattage means it takes the machine longer to reach a hot enough temperature to sear) which was an issue for me, but may not be for you. If you have never used a pressure cooker before a small cooker may be the place to start.

This instant pot is AMAZING. And a must have for any busy parent- or busy person. I have a four month old so I have almost no time to cook anymore for my fiancé. I bought this on a whim and here’s my experience.At first the product is VERY overwhelming. Kind of scary because I mean you could blow out a ceiling from all the pressure in this thing if not used right. Also there’s a lot of buttons.However, read the instruction manual carefully and you’ll be a ok! After about two or three uses I was completely comfortable using this. My dinner is ready in thirty minutes (including prep). I’ve made everything from chili to hard boiled eggs and everything has turned out wonderfully!

Exactly as pictured. Love this little instant pot and almost use it more than the 6qt I have.Versatile, small, and easy to use. It is my main rice cooker. Makes perfect rice and rice blend mixes like Rice-a-Roni. I use the sauce feature to simmer spaghetti sauce all day without having to worry about it boiling over or splattering all over the counter, etc. Great space-saver. Easy to keep clean.Just wish there was a stainless steel inner pot replacement available. I have been looking, and have yet to find one.

Update: after a few months of using this I gave up and threw it out. Nothing ever cooks to the correct completion . Either I funish off in the microwave or it’s over cooked. I have try to get in right for too long. At first I thought it was me And I need to learn how to use this one. But I can cook the same meal again and it comes out differently. Trust me there are far better ones out there. Buy one of them ..... My old review was: I like this item for everything but the rain steamer. the rice steamer works only for white rice. It cooks for a set 12 minutes for rice. If you put in brown or jasmine rice they are not fully cooked. Also the pot warm up stage takes as long as the actual cooking stage. However the inside size of the pot is wonderful. Perfect size for a meal amount that will feed two to three people. I am using this now for everything but for rice.

I got the smaller unit ( 2.5 Qt) and have had it since December. I can't say that there is anything I do not like about it. Its easy to clean, very versatile, and over all easy to use. My family enjoys everything I make out of it too. I am enjoying the smaller size of this multicooker the most. It is good for cooking fresh, easy, home cooked meals for just yourself ,or 2 people. It was a good investment.

received exactly as ordered~ works fabulous and I like this product better than Instapot (that has too many options to cook that would never use) the difference between the Instapot & this is the cooking pot is made of Teflon instead of a metal one~

I am fan of this product. I usually use slow cook and high pressure and also rice modes. I also chose this one because it teflon and I could fry things in it.
