Good tool
Good enough it’s sealey, been around for years. Simple and effective in finding a parasitic voltage drain.

Does the job well
Very easy to check for batery drain. Also it doesn't time out so useful for leaving connected. Very quick delivery.

A great tool for finding car battery drain problems
This Automotive Current Tester has the standard 5mm car-fuse sized plug, so it won't work with other fuse sizes: It's an excellent tool in helping determine if you have a battery drain problem, and where that drain could be.With the car ignition "off", it's simply a case of removing each fuse in turn, inserting that fuse into the holder on the plug of this device (to protect the circuit you're testing), and then inserting that plug into that fuse holder to measure if there's any drain. That tells you which circuit is causing the problem, and with the help of the car-owner's manual to tell you which devices are connected to that circuit, where the problem is most likely to be.I find this device is much quicker and easier to use than fumbling around with probes and a cumbersome multi-meter: A dedicated multi-meter fuse-lead alone can cost as much (or more) than this device, and my own professional £200+ multi-meter is in any case limited to a maximum 10A current. This little Current Tester copes with double that; 20 amps current. That's more than adequate for most applications since it is very unlikely that any parasitic loss is draining anything near that, but some might find it a little restricting if trying to measure current flow on a heavily loaded intentionally active circuit. It works with all voltages up to 48v DC (so common 6, 12 and 24 volt systems are fine), and measured current is shown on the LCD display to 2 decimal places (eg. 19.99A). Accuracy is claimed to be better than +/-2% /10mA. The connecting cable is roughly 70cm long, and the device runs off an internal A23S mini 12v battery which is supplied in the package; "BAT" shows on the display when the battery is low. What I do find a little annoying is that it would be so easy to include an adaptor so that this device could also be used with smaller 3mm mini-fuses (as some more expensive devices do). Instead, Sealey expect you to also buy the very similar TA121 model, which is identical except that it has that mini fuse-plug needed for those smaller-sized fuse types. That issue aside, if you're inclined to troubleshoot this kind of car electrical problem yourself, this is an excellent tool at reasonable cost.

Good Usfull tool
Very good tool for finding, current drain on your vehicle, easy to use,and very well built.quick delivery, shame it does not do the smaller size fuses aswell.

in line current tester
great little product makes electrical fault finding so much easier. just plug it in the fuse box in place of the fuse, then putthe fuse in the holder to complete the circuit and it will show the current being drawn in amps for that particular circuit.saves fiddling around with multimeter probes.
