Could do with a microsd card slot other than that and the baked in ads (which are easily removed with the help of google) really excellent tablet. Colours are bright and vivid and really pop and sound is pretty good for a tablet. Charging is quick. If you want the original stylus for it look on Aliexpress (£59)

Good product overall, does what it promises.

The touch screen is immediately responsive which is the main thing I was looking for. I tested the video function with a 4K video with a high bit rate and it played perfectly. The screen is bright and clear perhaps not as punchy as OLED. Battery lasts a long time and seems to hold charge well.

Reasonable price to performance. Loses a star for the god awful cameras it has, just remove them and make it cheaper.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Bought this for my nephew and he loving the tablet. Can play almost any games on it with no lags.

Bit nervous swapping over from an old ipad, but no regrets at all. Only issue was that it comes with a EU charger despite being advertised as a UK version. Seems very fast with good battery life and great screen. No regrets so far.

Took the pad out the box charged it full. Turned it on went straight to FASTBOOT, tried everything to remove it but to no avail, then it wouldn't even turn off , or reboot , so it went back in the box and returned it. Must admit amazon were straight on to it and sorted it there and then, pity the pad wasn't as reliable. I'm sure it's a good pad it's just that we got a dud one.

Dies ist mein erstes Produkt aus dem Haus Xiaomi und sehr wahrscheinlich nicht mein letztes. Also wirklich chapeau! Das Tablet ist sehr gut verarbeitet, hat einen stabilen Body aus Aluminium und ein wirklich knackscharfes Display, vier sehr deutliche und auch laute Lautsprecher, ist sehr leicht und angenehm dünn. Insbesondere begeistert hat mich die Anordnung der Tasten, die I/O- Taste ist auf der Kopfseite angebracht und die Lautstärketasten an der rechten Seite. Die Bedienbarkeit ist sehr gut, die Reaktionsschnelligkeit bei gewöhnlichen Aufgaben sehr schnell. Die Kameras sind ebenfalls gut, ich brauche sie aber zugegebenermaßen nicht wirklich oft. Für Videocalls etc. aber mehr als ausreichend. Insgesamt kann ich das Tablet zum Preis von 290 Euro wirklich empfehlen.

I received my Pad 6 a couple of days ago and have been impressed by the device. I bought it to replace my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite which broke after a few years. The Pad 6 is a worthy replacement and upgrade with its sharp screen, high refresh rate, excellent speakers, large battery and solid physical design. Breaking down each of these components: Screen:: the screen is excellent for an LCD, with bright vivid colours and variable 144hz refresh rate. It's obviously doesn't have the punch or contrast of an OLED display but good luck finding a OLED tablet in this price range. Speakers: I've owned various Samsung tablets, an nVidia Shield, Google Pixel and iPad, and the speakers in the Pad 6 are easily the best I've heard. They are surprisingly loud and clear for tablet speakers. They bass is obviously limited by the form factor but for general media, these speakers are excellent. Battery: I can only go by specs and other reviews here as I've only had the tablet a couple of days. The fast charger worked out of the box and the drain from a couple of hours of video is about what I'd expect. Build: the Pad 6 feels like a premium device in the hand. It has a full metal body and gorilla glass 3 over the display. It's light but doesn't feel cheap and the buttons are solid with a nice tactile click. My only dislike is the large camera bump on the rear of the device. The bump feels overly large for the camera it contains. It has a fake second camera in the rear cut out which I assume is an attempt to make it look fancier than it is. I'd much rather have a less obtrusive design with a smaller bump or none altogether. It's a minor quibble and only really noticeable when the tablet is laying flat. Overall, I'm very impressed with this device so far. As an unexpected bonus, my tablet has 8gb RAM despite being advertised as the 6gb RAM model. I'm not sure why I received the 8gb model but I'm definitely not complaining. If you're looking for a tablet with a mid-range price and premium features, and you're not locked into the ecosystems of Samsung or Apple, the Pad 6 is an excellent choice.
