Great for the price
This isn’t going to turn your DVD collection into Blu-Ray quality like it seems some may be expecting, but if, like me, you were still using a DVD with a scart connection, you will notice the picture is a bit sharper. For £37 including a HDMI cable, I’m very happy, I can watch my region 1 DVDs and the picture quality is better.

Plays DVD's from all regions but not all codecs (File Formats)
This small DVD player is perhaps not the best quality but is good value for money. The best thing about this is it will play Region 1, 2, & 4 (not sure about 3 as I don't have any to try). It also has a slot in the front if you wanted to plug a USB storage stick in. Sadly it will not play home made data style discs that are encoded in DivX Codec (Format) as advertised in the description of the product at the time of writing this review. On the box it has the XviD logo on it but when i did try playing a disc coded in XVID format it only played the picture and not the sound so some soundtracks are also not supported.

as described , able to view my region 1 dvds again. excellent picture and no sound of disc spinning. very pleased with product.

It's a good player. It plays my R1, 2, & 4 DVD's without any problems.

Excellent machine for such a low price.
Item arrived ahead of time. An excellent machine for the money. Easy to connect. A few seconds delay when you switch on machine but that is the only fault it in no way takes away from the amazing machine would recommend this machine to anyone. Would buy again.

Plays all regions and an unbeatable price
I’m very pleased with my purchase: this DVD player really does play DVDs from Australia and the US. It’s easy to install and use and it’s such a reasonable price. The quality of the picture is not what i expected, is a little blurry, but considering I have a fairly new and large TV, it’s “good enough” for the price.

Does not play ALL REGION
Purchased this as a gift to play DVDs from USA. It does NOT. The second time of use the power wasn’t working, sent away on warranty and part replaced. Tried playing DVD from USA....and it is NOT an all region player. Waste of time and money.
