I guess I thought there would be some more detail about strategies and tactics of doing the job. For $8 bucks, not bad, but definitely a brief introduction of the topic.

I am looking to break into the field. This book was really helpful. Read it about 3 years ago. And went out and got what needed to be done. Now applying for jobs and planning my success!

Although the David focuses on the medical device space his advice on researching companies, preparing for the interview and asking for the role could be used for almost any industry. For the millennial looking to land a sales career this book is a valuable tool in directing that initial desire into a rewarding and high paying profession.

I read the book and he writes as if he is willing to help those who come after him. The truth is you're better off googling as much information and just going on medreps.com and appying. This book is less than worthless.

If you are serious about breaking into medical sales then I definitely recommend buying this book. I came from a television news background and was able to get my foot in the door.

Very practical, but less useful for European medical sales job seekers
I like the practical approach of this book well divided into simple steps to build a career in the medical devices sales. It is a pity that those steps are focused only on the US market and most companies indicated don't have such a adecuate job offer in Europe. Steps for an ideal medical sales resume craft taking into account the European Union job availability would be highly valuable.
