Q: Does this seal asbestos floor tiles safely?

Hi, if they are even slightly absorbent it should work perfectly. If the tiles are already coated with anything forget this product as it needs to soak in, must say it works very well on new dry concrete but only because it was absorbed. Hope that helps

In all circumstances let the product cure and do its job. It has to dry thoroughly to be able to complete the sealing aspect. If you coat this sealer with another paint product, you are either looking at an extended drying period or failure of the whole process. My advice,... is follow the advice, the manufactures instructions are not placed on the tin for sheer decoration, you will not enhance the final effect by a shortcut, be patient and all will turn out well, rush it and you may encounter top coat, curing problems, why spoil your boat for hapath of tar, be patient and prosper. The floor sealer goes on before the floor paint. This seals the concrete and then proper floor paint goes on after. I did my garage floor to stop the continual dust from the concrete, i wouldn't use any masonry paint it has to be a proper floor paint for concrete.
