A very good battery controlled rotovator I needed a light and easy to control to use on my allotment to till the top soil ready for planting . Have used this machine this week and it was very poweful and after charging the battery a full charge lasted about 25 minutes before stopping which was enough for me to till the soil on one plot size 12ft by 8ft going backwards and forwards several times and really did make the soil much lighter reading for sowing. Have purchased a 4ah battery from another company I found on the internet as Amazon do not stock this size so will have a bigger power backup to use on my other plots.A really good workable machine .The only problem was I could not get tge battery to slot into the battery holder as there was two springs inside the holder which prevented the battery being inserted these I eventually removed as they appeared to be for packing the battery I presume was orginally included where as now they sell this this seperately. The battery then jus t slides in without any problem this advice may help other purchasers.Hope this review helps

Pretty good
I had this about eighteen months before I used it. Quite effective at breaking up soil, although a quick pre-dig is a good idea. Crumbles soil well and is fairly light and maneuverable. No issue with the battery fitting as mine has a spring action which releases it. Retains charge for a reasonable period. Battery life isn't bad and I've usually had enough by the time the charge does run out.My main issue is the height and angle of the handle. I think you need to be about 6'6" to use it comfortably. You can lower the handle but the angle still makes it awkward to use despite being lightweight. On balance a good buy but could have been better with a more adjustable handle.

This machine does the job , quietly and with sufficient power
Easy to manoeuvre, and batteries last a long time enabling me to roto- vate the garden on one charge

Useful if you already have the batteries. Not that powerful
I have a wired Spear and Jackson electric cultivator which is powerful but restricted by the cable. Since I already have two batteries and a charger for my Greenworks mower I thought I'd give this a try.It is quite heavy but manoeuvrable thanks to the wheelers. It's not as powerful as the wired unit but OK on soil that isn't brick hard. Useful tool but no replacement for a heavy duty machine. The battery can be stiff to remove. A bit of wd 40 fixes that.

Excellent cultivator
Excellent cultivator. Works extremely well and will cultivate many different soil types. Have had no problem installing the battery in our machine (only problem is that the battery seems to need recharging rather quickly, but as long as your near a power socket this can be done within about 30 minutes... Time to have a cup of tea, LOL)Highly recommended product.

Small but Strong
It did what it said in the add, works well on my clay soil to break it up the battery operation was perfect for the area of 4m x 4m three times and plenty of power left in battery recommended for small gardens....

The tiller has literally worked for 1 month and only used 3 times within this period and has now stopped working. Trying to get hold of amazon for a refund or replacement
