took the biology sat subject test during june 2019. only started studying a week before with this book. though it covers quite a lot of material, there are sections for general concepts in case you are running out of time to study. read those blurbs during each chapter and it will help tremendously with your score. helped me score an 800!

It is very time consuming to go through this book, because it includes much more detail on the topics that it covers than you need to know for the exam. And other topics are glossed over that are important, such as plants. Some errors/typos. The practice tests are helpful.

I studied this book for 2 weeks, got a 740.

This book teaches you a lot of specific information that you do not need to know. The test states the facts and details in each question. Perhaps it would be helpful to be familiar with this information, but you absolutely do not need to memorize all of it. In addition to teaching all of this unnecessary information, the book leaves out a significant amount of information that was on the test.

The book is way too much fluff and it does not accurately teach the whole curriculum. Leaves out some key details that might have been on the subject test.
