Hi, is this product a suitable substitute for the bwt inline filters ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/b0781zj1vq/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_ ) please?

It claims to be ... the 1/4" pipework certainly fits BUT as soon as I pressurised my system, a BWT tap at my kitchen sink, the inlet valve began weeping. I have changed tens of these but never had that issue. I cut fresh (new) pipe and reconnected ... same issue .. returned
