Very strong build
Great spade. Survived big digging projects around house without any problems. If I ever need to buy spade of course I will back for this model.

Excellent shovel
Great shovel. I deliberately searched for one that wasnโt too big. I like them to a nice manageable size since Iโm often using it as part spade & part shovel, ie Iโm doing digging with it as well as moving material from A to B. Itโs solid steel. All one piece apart from the handle which is wooden. Iโd have preferred a polypropylene handle as sometimes the wooden ones start to swivel over time but minor detail that doesnโt change the fact this is a great tool. Spear & Jackson are a very reliable manufacturer of garden tools so I never doubted that the quality would be up to standard and I wasnโt disappointed on that front either. I reckon that itโll last a lifetime. Iโm a happy shovel owner.

Indestructible and good value
Iโve broken wooden shaft shovels, pick axes and so on and it gets to be a pain replacing wooden shafts so to avoid that l bought this. This shovel is very sturdy and l really canโt imagine the shaft ever breaking or even bending. The shovel blade itself isnโt quite as large as others l have used however thatโs possibly to save on weight. The shovel l received has a little bit of a uneven weld on the shaft which can make prolonged use a little uncomfortable but lโll live with that to have a shovel that is really solid.(Bear in mind this is solid steel construction so be sure youโre nowhere near any underground electrical services.)Not a complaint from me but some may find that when digging solid ground and hit a stone, the energy is directed straight through the shaft far more than a wooden item.Nevertheless, if you want an indestructible shovel - donโt look any further, this is it.

Strong and Good
It's nice and made fully from metal a bit heavy but durable and does the job.
User
Spade
Seems relatively sturdy, should be strong enough to do what I need to use it for.Corner of blade arrived slightly damaged with the glaze cracked away. This will reduce the lifespan of the product unfortunately, they are maybe not being stored correctly wherever they're being kept.
User
does all the shovelling if you use your muscles
and you need to have muscles. because it is heavy. but good quality.
User
With a metal shaft, I won't be breaking this one any time soon
Very sturdy and hopefully, durable. I hgave broken a few wooden handles over the years. Also, this is for shovelling rather than digging
