Great and inexpensive
I wanted some inexpensive boards for my kids to practice at home and these have been perfect. My daughters took first and third in their tournament for breaking this weekend in part because of the practice they got with these boards.

Great product
I have a younger kiddo in karate and having these boards at home allows him to practice technique and prepare him for belt testing. Highly recommended.

These are a nice quality boards and would be great for practice after you have been trained.
The boards look like they are a good quality. I thought that my grandson would be ready for these to practice at home but he has not had enough classes/training yet. The yellow board is for younger students and the blue board is a heavier weight and is for a little older or a more experienced student. The boards are 9 x 12 and have a soft foam padding and a hard plastic core. My husband who had taken martial arts years ago was able to break the boards after a couple/many tries, lol. They were a little stiff sliding them back together but They are new and I would expect that. I will save these for when my grandson is ready but based on our little home test they worked as they should.

Broke after a handful of uses
My 6 year old daughter kicked this board maybe 45 times at most - she successfully broke it in half about 8 times, and then it broke for good. I understand they won't last forever - but I'd like to get at least 100 breaks out of it before needing to buy a new one. Overpriced junk. Try a different brand.

So satisfying. Identical to the boards at our dojo.
We've been taking karate classes as a family for just over a year now. Our three boys love breaking boards, of course. These boards look and feel identical to the boards we use at the dojo. And the snapping sound is so very satisfying. The yellow is easy enough our 7 year old can break it with a little focus. The blue is difficult enough our 10 and 12 year olds really have to work to get through it. Recommended for sure.
