The woman selling them did a fantastic job at showing me how they worked etc
I bought these at the Puyallup Fair in WA state and paid about $100 for 5 sets. The woman selling them did a fantastic job at showing me how they worked etc. However after I started using them, I've discovered that the lids do NOT always close correctly. I can always clip 2 sides, but the opposite 2 sides are much harder to close. So hard, that I've broken one of the lids. This alone make them useless. I would not purchase these again. The other downfall is when you stack them in the fridge, the container below does not always keep it's shape. One last irritation is the little button on top that opens and closes to ventilate in the microwave. It easily pops off while washing or pulling open. I ALSO found a slight white residue after washing them in the top rack of the dishwasher, as stated by a previous reviewer. I'm giving it 2 stars because they are still functional, even if they are faulty.

Reduces Storage Space
The rectangular containers can sometimes be difficult to get the lids to securely attach to the containers. The larger rectangular containers are the most difficult to get the lids to securely attach to the containers. The round containers are much easier to get the lids to securely attach to the containers. The round containers can be more difficult to sore away though.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Did not buy on Amazon. Bought them at a shopping fair in Iowa in November. I am not impressed. Says they are dishwasher safe but now they have a white residue on them. After they are washed the lids are really hard to clip back on. Yes, they save space but who wants to spend 10 minutes trying to get the lid on?! They also collapse easily when you have food in them. I spent over $100 on these and I wouldn’t spend another dollar on them. Waste of money. Do not buy!

they are washed by hand and air dryed and look just like new. Has anyone else had this issue
I didn't purchase these off Amazon, I didn't learn about them unitl I bought two sets of flat stacks recently at the Pinners Expo in Arlington, TX. My husband is very conscious about BPA and microwaving plastic so I thought I'd give them a try. The rep there said they are microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. However, I've noticed after putting a couple of pieces in the dishwasher, when they come out, they appear to have a spotted white powdered coating all over them. The coating doesn't come off, even after hand washing it, which is disturbing. The pieces that i haven't put in the dishwashwer do not have this, they are washed by hand and air dryed and look just like new. Has anyone else had this issue? Had I known putting them in the dishwasher would do this, I never would have done so. Other than that, they are great little containers, they save space and I've had no issues with the lids. I have emailed the manufacturer to see if they will replace them, and see what they have to say about this mystery coating. If they don't, i will be repurchasing them from Amazon because they are just that handy, but I will never put them in the dishwasher.

Great idea but..... a couple of issues
Bought at Costco. Seemed like great concept. A couple of issues however. The lids need to be lined up perfectly square otherwise it’s almost impossible to snap the lids on. Broke a tab off one of the lids before perfecting a rather tedious lid centering technique.More concerning however is that the containers take on the taste of dishwasher soap (leaves a white film on the container) which in turn can be tasted in the food you consequently put in it. Salad that tastes like dishwasher soap is not very good....Tried to get around this by hand washing the containers. Works better but still takes on the taste of whatever was in it.Am returning to Costco today to get my money back.
