Opening these I thought to myself that they are pretty basic but in reality these are exactly as described here and perfect for playing the course near my home which is along a River. My second throw on that course went right into the Flint river, lost forever, I can still see it going off it’s intended course with great speed into it’s watery grave. It’s less painful to lose one of these while learning to play then to lose a much more expensive one.A good set to decide whether you enjoy the game before spending too much and there are enough disks for friends to play as well.

They are okay to start out with and fly well. But for us, even as beginners, once we tried more professional discs, these aren't used as much.

I'm not one to leave reviews but this one deserves it. My son and I had a basic beginner set initially and went with this one to upgrade. They are durable and we like they are all the same physical size so you don't have to adjust your grip between types. The edge design distinguishes the distance and results when throwing. Lastly being beginners, the price point isn't much worse than a couple buckets of golf balls at the range so when we lost 5 of the 18 in a weekend playing a very woodsy course near water, it didn't hurt the wallet and we'll be reordering soon.

I used to play back in college…decaaaades ago. And when my boys saw it on tv and thought it looked cool I opted for a cheap pack for the whole family. I went for this set because it was the best deal and it was so cheap if they try and hate it like everything else. Then ok.But boy have I been wrong. I’m sure there are better discs out there….but for a starter set this is pretty amazing. I can certainly make them fly and with good distance. But they are forgiving enough that my boys are getting better and loving it.And the best thing about them? They are ALL different animals and it makes it super easy to know whose is whose. And the boys love it. After two weeks at the park playing various training games….we went and played 9 holes and they loved it. So 5 out of 5 stars for being cheap, not feeling cheap, and getting everyone in the family their own disc. I’ll actually use these until fall before upgrading my discs. The boys are already fighting over my bear, and Phoenix discs.

Great discs for the money. They fly great and look cool. They’re durable, which my dogs love to test.

These discs are a different shape then we have ever seen and they seem to be more of a rigid plastic. For my little kids these are good enough for them but if you are wanting something more advanced these are not for you. We had a lot of fun decorating them. If you are wanting to get into disc golf these would not be fore you.

These are perfectly adequate. There are enough variants with the patterns printed on them that you could make different sets for the whole family and not get them mixed up while we're golfing
