I have a duel fuel generator in my shed in the yard. My power goes out to the shed from the house using a #6 wire. ( I previously had a pool filter which was supplied by power from the shed) I'm using the only connection to the house to run power from the generator back to the house. The issue was CO build up in the shed which would shut down the generator. Alas!!!! Along comes Zombie Box with a external exhaust tube to connect and run exhaust out of the shed; brilliant! (wish I had thought of it!) I order the muffler kit, which arrived as advertised, and hooked it up. (See photos) The muffler doesn't get too hot on the outside so it's really safe. I was worried because I have a grand daughter who could come in contact if she was over here and it was running. Also worried about CO but the exhaust tube works great. I added muffler sealer paste and two layers of Tiger Tape muffler sealer. I close the shed, run the unit and no CO build up. This is great for keeping my generator out of the weather and protected from the elements. No more moving it around!

I wouldn't say a quiet system very much maybe a little bit but definitely diverse the sound in the direction that you choose you could also make a steel enclosure or stone put some rock wall in front of it diverting the sounds that helps a lot but overall in my generator shed controlling where I want the exhaust to go very helpful

Exact fit for my FirmanT08072 Tri-fuel Generator. I have my generator in my shed and needed the exhaust vented outdoors. Heavy Duty, Quality material that is Engineered for a correct fit. The only negative I could dig up was the lack of a gasket. I bought Hi Temp gasket material and made one. NP. Installation was a breeze. Highly recommend this unit, if it fits your requirements.

The muffler and accessories seem to be well-made and high-quality. Putting it together was relatively simple. The biggest value comes with being able to put the exhaust outside of whatever enclosure you happen to have your generator in. Reduction of the heat inside the enclosure was a big benefit. the before decibels readings, and the after decibel readings only showed a reduction of 2 dB with the additional muffler.

Super easy to install and custom fit to my generator setup. I did end up "corking" the exhaust port while not in use. I was worried rain might get in. In my head I thought it would reduce the noise more, but generators are so loud muffled or not. With this you will only bother your next door neighbor. Not the whole block.

Good quality and prompt delivery

No instructions. Very very very loud. Generator began to smoke almost immediately. Put the old one back on, no problems. I would not recommend this is you are looking for something to keep it quieter.

Perfect solution and fit

Product was perfect for what I needed. It extended the exhaust from our back-up generator and reduced overall noise level. Great product, easy to install, instructions were adequate.

Perfect solution for my generator exhausting through wall. I'd give it 5 stars but the thre tiny welds that hold the ring into place are very weak. One broke already and haven't used it a long time. Easy to fix, but that really isn't the point tho..

Amazing! Perfect fit with my Champion generator 8,000W. Easy to install and decrease the sound.

Left the spark arrester on as it made a better flush fit. Put my exhaust out through the floor of my shed and got another pc of extension from Canadian tire to place on the end and point out the shed bottom. Have fired it up a few times and it sounds good and looks like it will stay together.

Description says Universal, it is not. I have a Champion 9000 watts Dual Fuel generator with 7250/6525 running watts. The privided fittings do not fit. I contacted the seller and am waiting for his answer. Product seems good but is NOT universal. On the generator, I had to shave the exhauxt end about 3/16" using a grinder to make it even with the surface. Then ordered a exhaust gasket and sandwich it between the surface. Gasket model: BRIGGS & STRATTON #691893 available on Amazon. I also bought longer screws in case. Screwd are metric. Screws type: M5 20 mm long.
