Nice cube
It was nice but son dropped it on wood and broke apart. Dropped from less than 2 feet and it smahsed to pieces.

My 2 year old daughter loves playing with this!
I got this as a gift for my daughter and she loves twisting the colors! She doesn't quite understand to match the sides yet but she loves spinning the cube. The cube itself is well-made and feels sturdy in your hands. The turning mechanism is smooth and fast. What I appreciate most about this cube is its compact size - it's easy for my daughter to handle it. I believe this toy helps to improve hand-eye coordination, problem-solving skills, and some critical thinking abilities. Overall a simple and fun toy to add to anyone's collection.Quality: 5/5Durability: 5/5Value: 4/5X-factor: 5/5 - easy but stimulatingOverall, I recommend this to anyone looking to get a puzzle toy for their young one!

Cool alternative to playing with your phone
Like many young kids, I was always infatuated with the idea of a rubix cube, but never had the desire to sit down long enough to learn the 'algorithms' necessary to solve them. The traditional 3x3 always felt too complicated to sit down and learn. The 2x2 cube was perfect.I thought it would be so simple that it would be boring to try and figure out. However, it clearly is much easier, but you can actually think through what needs to be done. It is still complicated, but much more manageable to solve. If you want to go through memorization, there are only 4 algorithms (included) used to solve them, but it is possible to logic your way through. No idea how this would function for an experienced solver, but the mechanisms were solid and smooth.

It looks so innocent sitting next to the 5x5 rubics cube
I had to have it as soon as I saw the price point of this 2x2 rubics cube. I have fairly nice "speed cubes" in 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5. I've never found a 6x6 that I like. Now this 2x2... soooo cute. Maybe it's time to make a 1x1 for completeness. As for the action and the build - pretty well done. The action has very little drag. It spins super easily. Also, you can pull it apart somewhat and try to look at the innards or access the screw for disassembling. I don't know that it will stand up to hours and hours of speed cube practice. It might with that low drag build, but why should it? It's a 2x2. Just a novelty. If you're going to practice for hours, you should be using a 3x3 or larger.
