Beautifully made
The flaxseed pack is very nice quality, sewn nicely and the perfect size for my castor oil pack. I am glad I looked at other reviews and saw that it can catch fire in the microwave, mine fortunately did not. But I will be removing it from the outside cover in the future. It seems to stay nice and hot for a long time. I also like the humidity that it seems to emit which I have heard is good for heating castor oil. Over all I am very happy with this product

Perfect size for castor oil pack; holds the heat for a long time
The thickness of this makes the heat stay inside for a long time. The size is perfect for a castor oil pack that has the zippered pocket. It slides right in and helps the pack work better. The heat pack also doesn't have any weird smells like some of them do.

Microwave burned hole in corner of heat pad
It worked well at first with heat lasting about 25 to 30 minutes. The third use burned a hole in corner of pad after being in microwave only two minutes. If it wasn't for hole burn, I would really like it.

Nice addition to caster oil routine
Winter months & cold caster oil = cold! Adding this has warmed things up .. literally. Good idea , would recommend.

Short life
When I first got this, it only took around 30 seconds to 1 minute per side to heat it up in the microwave A couple months later and it now takes around 4-5 minutes to get the same level of heat. Plus some of the seeds seem to have swelled, bursting some of the stitching and making the pillow lopsided and hard to use. Also there is a strange smell coming from it, like burnt oil
