Rust-Oleum 247570 Universal All Surface Spray Paint, 12 oz, Satin Espresso Brown

I used this all-surface spray to repaint a storage chest I bought second-hand. I have never really painted anything but walls before but this was super easy to use. I put cardboard down and sanded a little bit because the chest I had was a little rough. The spray comes out nice and smooth making the project really easy. The chest is now a beautiful satin dark brown, making it look much more expensive than it was. I'm really happy with this spray paint and I plan to buy more for a few other pieces of furniture!

The cap color in the listing doesn't match the cap color in real life. I want to give a review about this red color tone bc there's always a question of how close the cap color is to the actual paint color, when buying spray paint. I was skeptical as to whether or not this red tone would turn out to be what I had envisioned for my wind spinner, and it isn't. I wanted a more cool color tone of red for my wind spinner, but this paint is actually a warm rust/maroon tone. This is the only tone of metallic red provided by Rust-Oleum, and I could ONLY find it on Amazon! Neither small or "big box" hardware stores carry Rust-Oleum's 'metallic' red on their shelves. Frustrating but not the end of the world.It truly is a pretty color, if it's what you want for your project.🙂 This paint lives up to the good quality provided by Rust-Oleum, and it sprays on smooth. I do like the spray nozzle design. It's so much more comfortable for my arthritic hands to use.🙃😅 Additionally, it can be stored with the little spray stopper placed back on it! Ingenious!! All that said, I rate this paint 5 stars!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Easy to use, looks great!

I was worried at first, I couldn't see any flakes and the color was very darkProbably gave it three or four coats, five mins flash time in between, and then suddenly WOWthat dark blue began to pop and those metal flakes really worked the way you expect, with some depthwas very necessary to wipe the tip many times, as the paint loved to spit, but I learned this quickly and had no issues.

Good paint, was trying to find the cream colored spray paint to match our furniture. I think this is the most similar color I was able to find. Works very well and easy to use.

My metal patio set is 28 years old. Every few years, I use this Rustoleum paint (Oil Rubbed Bronze) to refresh it. I love the texture and sheen. It makes it look new again!I'm including photos of the metal cart that is part of my set. I painted it this week and just brought it inside to store in my basement until winter ends (in Illinois) and then it will go back outside. So happy to get this project done this week. In the spring, it will be ready to make its appearance back outside.My friends are always amazed how good my patio set looks after nearly 3 decades. The secret is this paint!!

Four of the six kids worked perfectly. Two dripped and caused problems with the finish that I had to purchase more paint and sandpaper.. Drying Time was pretty good, Even in rain, it did dry in 24 hours. Good coverage as well.

I painted all of my bathroom fixtures matte black and it turned out great. Easy spray makes it go on like a pro.

This paint had to be ordered on Amazon.com (USA) because they didn’t carry in the Canadian site, $56.00 to purchase on the web!When it arrived the bill from the sellers purchase was in the box $9.99, I really felt like we had been ripped off!

Ordered this paint, arrived super fast, paint was one of the best we have ever used covered our rusty solar light hooks and Shepard’s hooks didn’t even have to stand prior, excellent coverage. I highly recommend this paint. Customer service was also great and answered all questions. Would definitely buy from them again.
