OEM parts at a good price.
These are OEM replacement parts. They work as they should. I keep several extra because it only takes one time of the blade hitting an obstruction to destroy them and put the mower out of commission. I have a yard full of obstacles and even best efforts doesn't prevent the occasional blade hit. Keeping these in stock lets me reduce the down time to flipping the mower over, pulling off the blade, replacing the insulator, remounting the blade, and back to mowing - a hot ten minutes as most. Waiting three weeks to order and receive a replacement part is just poor planning. When these are on sale, stock up on two to four. The first time you need them, you will thank yourself. That's why I bought them before I needed them.

you'll need it if you maintain your own electric mower's blade sharpness and its fan's integrity.
If you sharpen or otherwise maintain your own electric mower blades or fan, most likely the reason you're going to do it is because you've damaged them by hitting hard objects while mowing. In that case the "blade insulator" is also likely to be damaged, since it is there to protect the rest of the mower by allowing the blade to spin somewhat independently of the drive shaft when its motion is stopped. So you're going to need a new one to do it right, and this fits the bill. As a side note, it's pretty likely that if you've damaged the blade you've also damaged the fan and you are at risk of overheating your motor if you don't inspect and replace it when you are minding the blade."Insulator" is a stupid name for what this does, but you'll get used to it.
