RONSEAL DIAMOND HARD FLOOR PAINT SLIP RESISTANT PEBBLESTONE

I ordered this floor paint to use on my landing and stairs floorboards as having sanded them back and painted them a couple of years ago they were due for a touch up thanks to the paint chipping away in places, mainly due to the heavy foot traffic which includes 3 clumsy children and 2 crazy dogs.I originally used a paint from a high street stores own line of paints, but after attempting to re-order it seems to of been discontinued so straight away I searched on Amazon for an alternative and came across this one by Ronseal. Which strangely enough has the exact same colour name- pebblestone.I’m glad I took the plunge and chose this one, after being very apprehensive that the shade would be different it turns out to be exactly the same also. So it’s not just in the name. It now makes me wonder if Ronseal actually makes the paints for that particular store...Anyway it applies like a dream- I just literally used a small foam roller to go across the floorboards with. I managed to do a good full coat evenly across my landing and down my stairs in around an hour.Drying time was fast- we left the house for a couple of hours after I’d finished in order to get some shopping in and by the time we returned the paint was completely dry. Dry enough to even walk across.The smell was minimal, nothing like some of the dreaded oil based paints, with zero nasty fumes.I used around a half a tub with all I painted, so a little goes a long way with this paint.Obviously I only needed one coat so depending on the area you’re wanting to paint and how many coats you’ll need to do will determine how many tins you’ll need.I think so far it’s seeming like a really good paint for the price. You can’t really complain at a change of flooring for less than £20.

Very easy to use ,and its covered very well as the step was black ,dried quickly too

only recently purchased and used, easy to use seems good product only negative is delivery courier ( UPS ) he noted tried to deliver at 11:57 could not so had to take it somewhere for us to pick up but my wife was on the phone to head office at 12:06 telling them that she was upstairs at that time therefore he must not have rang the bell and waited for long, UPS does that stand for Upset People Seriously

Absolutely love this paint. Used it on my stairs, wooden furniture dries quickly and colour is perfect. Ordered another tin. Happy customer.

I'm really sad :( I have used floor paint before and have been disappointed that it has chipped off after several months. When I read the product information on this, I thought it was the answer... NOT. In less than 5 months it has nearly all peeled off. I followed the instructions to the letter, spending hours with a wire brush. It definitely doesn't do what it says on the tin!

Good paint. Ionly painted the floor of a small utility room but it was easy to cover and I completed the job in a short time

I have used this paint before on wood and concrete slabs, both of which retained their high gloss and hard wearing qualities over a long period of time. Very easy to apply and has a quick drying time between coats, which is extremely convenient when access to treated areas is required soon after painting. Brilliant on all counts.
