This bottle opener is great. The name speaks for itself. It's really simple to use and cuts down the opening time to just seconds. There is no need to screw or put force into pulling out the cork. All it takes is pushing the handle down and then up and presto. Then when you want to close the bottle you just push the handle down again. I bought this as a gift for my friend and when I saw how simple it was I ended up buying one for myself. I'm extremely happy with this and would recommend it to anyone who drinks wine.

I loved the finish on this wine opener, the color and feel are exquisite. It fits nicely in my smaller hands and is an ease to use. Definitely gets the job done with little effort on my part. The gift set items were a nice addition. The foil opener works excellent. I have yet to use the ice tongs because I'm a bit of a barbarian and use my hands. The stopper did it's job. I haven't used the cubes in alcohol but have used the chill of them to soothe sore spots, they definitely hold the cold well.

I purchased this item and kept it in my basement bar for very limited usage and for nice presentation trusting that the Rabbit brand would be good quality. Was disappointed when first opening since what I thought was some type of wooden storage turned our to just be a cardboard box but that aside I kept it and things went downhill from there. After opening less then two dozen bottles of wine over roughly a six month period, the whole appliance simply fell apart. Springs and bolts were literally falling off the wine opener device that I had to reattach several times with tools until it finally just broke down altogether. All it does now is shove wine corks directly into the bottles versus removing them. The last straw was the plastic foil cutter just broke apart in my hand yesterday, sadly the only item left of use. I'd recommend investing in a different opener as this one is subpar for even basic use.

The pin that is used to put pressure on the screw to open the bottle of wine is held in place at the top by a simple knurl on the end of the pin. It slid down in the hole after the first month of using it and became inoperable. Being mechanically inclined I was able to hammer on the end of the pin with a soft face hammer to put it back in place. But the integrity of the knurl has been compromised. It should have been put into place by a more sound mechanical mechanism instead of relying on the friction of a simple knurl. Obviously designed by someone who either didn't know what they were doing or wanted to cut costs. Unfortunately I didn't think of taking a picture of what I am talking about before I fixed it. But it has slid down twice now. Eventually it won't hold.

I bought one of these for myself. These are easier than the mechanical openers and the Rabbit brand is the best quality out there. My elderly neighbor was over and used it to open a bottle a wine and commented how easy it was for him now that he does not have the strength he had when he was younger. So for Christmas, i bought him and his wife this set and they LOVE it. They love the quality and the ease of use, just as I do.

I was pleasantly surprised with the amenities in the box. There is an extra extractor, in case the one installed breaks. Also included are stainless steel cubes to use for cooling your drinks....there are tongs, and a foil cutter, plus more. There were no instructions but it's pretty intuitive to use.I was going to gift this to my parents, but I'm having a hard time letting it go so I'll be doing some shopping to find a different gift.....or I'll buy another one of these.

The rabbit system is supposed to make opening wines bottles easier. This one for some reason made the whole process so hard. The handle was very hard to move up and down. It made removing the cork so much harder than using a regular corkscrew. Definitely will be returning the product.
