Wedding and Party Store Paper Chinese Lanterns, Multi-Colour, Pack of 10

first time I bought chinese lanterns, and this one had a reasonable price. Use it in quite windy surroundings (Scotland), what didn't help. But during still, it very easy to assembly and start fire (about 3 minutes since unwrap to take off). It has quite big size, so help of another person is really useful. Also tissue paper is very delicate, you need to be careful when unfolding. The fuel fully burn before it fall down, but remember about fire risk anyway - in windy weather it's going much longer on lower levels, before reach highs. So, no houses' areas recommended.Advantages:- price,- easy to light,- beautiful effect,- last for about 10 minutes.Disadvantages:- needs two persons to assembly,- delicate construction.

I absolutely love Chinese Lanterns, they're so magical and I always make a wish after I let one go. Bought this for a mix of purposes, some were for me (of course) and others as a gift. They're excellent quality and unlike the picture illustrates there are a lot more colours including my favourite shades of pink!

8 out of 10 worked, though think it was more the lack of wind that stopped the other two. We used them to remember a loved one and show rwspect and they were really colourful and nice to watch. Got the whole family involved which was nice. Would buy again

I have never used Chinese lanterns before so I am not an expert. But the pack contains different types of lanterns which mean novices like me have to figure out how to use each one. Then half were already torn when we open them and they never left the ground. Most were also with too short burning time so it wasn't that excising as they quickly fell back on the ground (and then you have to go around and collect them). All in all I expected a lot more from them but didn't get it. Disappointed.

Got these for Halloween, they work perfectly.You need two people to light them comfortably - unfold the paper fully so that the fuel block will heat the air and expand it fully. One person holds the lantern by the top and the second person lights the fuel block at the bottom. Don't rest the lantern on the ground when the fuel block is lit, as the fuel block can fall off then.If the wind is very calm they burn for a good 5 minutes and can travel incredibly far. They look amazing at night.

I ordered two days ago and they have been delivered already, this makes me extremely happy as I placed a last minute order to send lanterns to a loved one in the sky for his birthday on Tuesday. I didn't choose express delivery, just the standard one. So happy with the delivery speed. Only thing is I didn't receive the colours stated. I received 2 white, 2 green 1 red 1 blue 1 pink 1 orange 1 yellow and 1 purple, but this doesn't bother me as re sky is going to look beautiful none the less :) thank you for the most perfect gift for someone so far away!

Delivered on time , however the lanterns are horrendously poor 2 have failed to fly they all have rips and tears that have been selotaped up ,some that have flown were only in the air 2 minutes before burning out and coming down about 100 yards away, , maybe I just got a dud pack , they were the cheapest ones I found £6.80 maybe that's why they're crap

a vile canka has crept into english life, the cheap and nasty for what was once a good product,the first time i ordered these lanterns, they all worked as they should, so ordered again, but alasthis will be the last time, what i got was quite frankly crap, the fule units, just cant produce enought lift, even if four of the ten diddn't have slits where the gum was missing, the tissue is so thin now, that holding them is next to inpossible, and worst of all, the paper should be burn resistant, it isnt ! is be very careful !
