Good quality camera with wide angled image.
First impression are impressive: a heavy, sturdy looking weatherproof camera. The kit came to hook it up to an outside wall. You'll need power or network if you're not going to use wife. The cable from the camera with power/network/pairing button is pretty long, suitable to run it inside and connect it up to the power supply.Pairing was easy. In order to view the view the video, you have to use the 'hubble' app and create an account to view the image. This app lets you adjust the motion sensor and other aspects of the image such as brightness. It seems that you have to pay if you want online recording features here. The image itself is a wide angled image, not only does it fit in my garden, but those on either side if mounted high enough up the wall. Picture quality is good. The movement sensor can be switched to Infrared mode - even at night you get an image, although the quality is low.My only issue is that I found the application sometimes takes ages to connect and hangs on 'getting the stream' and I'd prefer an onboard slot for recording. However, if you're managing multiple cameras the app is probably pretty good.

Stupid termination
20 mm hole required because of the network plug. Could a coupled it as itβs one cable from the camera at a smaller size. Double brick with air gap masonry so now itβs a problem. They should show this on the example mounts on the sales pitch. Instead note they show no cables but the cable slot shows. Otherwise high quality. Had an inside one for 7 years and itβs still fine. Hubble works well

Added security
I've installed this above my front door and really like it. It's easy to use and allows me to check on my property when I want to for peace of mind whether that be during the day or at night if I hear noises. Good stuff.

Easy to set up, durable and effective in use
I have a large garden, which is quite secluded from the street in places, so I wanted some peace of mind from a security camera. When I was offered this through the Vine programme, the timing was ideal, so I jumped at the chance.I was a little worried about how easy it would be to set up, but it's actually very straightforward. I plugged the camera into the mains, downloaded the Motorola Hubble app, paired the camera via the very simple instructions, and it was ready to go. Now that I had the confidence that it would work, I had to decide where to site it.The mains cable also has a couple of other leads hanging from its mains plug end. One is the little pairing button, protected by a weatherproof cap, and the other is an Ethernet socket, in case you need/want to hardwire it in to your network. These are both fine, and useful, but do mean that you need a fairly big hole to feed them through when mounting on an outside wall. I bought a 32mm drill bit, as I mounted my camera high on the wall of my timber outbuilding. The camera feels very high quality and durable too, by the way.In use, the camera is great. If the conditions are quite dark, it automatically switches to 'night' mode, and shows a monochrome image, and if it's brighter, it shows full colour. Its sensitivity is good on the default setting, and there is a 5 step adjustment in the app. The recordings are crisp and clear, and very good quality for the money, I think. The app itself is very easy to use, and you can 'drop in' on your camera from your phone whenever you want. You can also set it to send an alert to your phone when it detects movement, which is a nice feature for peace of mind too, although I'll probably have to fiddle with the sensitivity as I have a lot of wildlife wandering around my garden at night too.If you want to save your recordings, you have a choice of 3 plans. You get 7 days free trial to begin with and then have Basic, Standard and Premium plans, which offer increasing degrees of flexibility and lengths of time that your recordings are saved for. The basic one that I've opted for is only a few pounds a month, and saves videos for 24 hours. If I need to keep them for longer after viewing them, I'll upgrade my plan, but I'm happy with this for now. I'm generally opposed to this recent insistence by many companies on making people pay a subscription for certain features, but since storage of any recording will be an ongoing need, it feels like a necessary and fair cost here. All in all, I'm impressed with the camera, happy with its performance, and delighted with how easy it was to set up.

Absolutely brilliant camera. The best one I've tried so far
Absolutely brilliant camera. The best one I've tried so far. We are actually using it indoors as a child cam and security camera although it is fully waterproof and approved for outdoor use and features protective all weather accessories for outside use. We have a disabled son who we need to monitor and the Motorala Focus does this brilliantly. As other reviewers have noted, this is NOT plug and play. Although as a non-techy person I did enjoy setting this up and had very little problems doing so. You will need to know your WIFI details. The camera once installed and plugged in (requires a standard power socket) is ready to go. Download the Hubble for Motorola app. This works on all platforms. I've used it on Android phone, iPad and Desktop PC. Name your camera via the app and then you can view it at any time by clicking on the screen. The picture it gives you is outstanding. Forget grainy, snowy, blotchy, black and white baby monitors. This gives you crisp, non glitchy, almost perfect visuals.. Sometimes the screen refreshes but it's only seconds. You can 'zoom in' and 'move' around the frame. This does not actually move the camera but you can get a close up shot of something in the camera's view if you need to. You can take a 'screenshot' and save it. You can set it to notify when there is movement detected. This can get annoying if there is a lot of activity where you have installed the camera but you can also change this to stop notifying during certain busy times. This is the 'do not disturb' feature. You can be notified by sounds, vibrations or a call. The camera really comes into its own when it's dark. It has night camera vision and you can still see everything! This is vital to us when we need to monitor our disabled son. Again the picture will be black and white but you can still make out everything. I've used it a few times away from home and it's utterly brilliant to keep an eye on the house/the room it's in as it faces the front of the house. Everyone I have shown the picture to has been incredibly impressed with the quality. Please note there is no sound with this camera. It's pictures only. The only thing that lets this camera down is the requirement by Motoral to sign up to a 'plan'. Everything I've described above is available for free. The paid plan includes motion triggered video recording. Any time movement is detected by the camera you will receive a video of the whole event. The app does come with a free 7 day trial but after that the plan starts from Β£29.99 a year up to Β£225 a year for premium package. For the price of the camera though and if you don't need the added feature of the above, it's money well spent. You could use this as a glorified babysitter like we do or you could use it outside your house as a deterrent to wannabe criminals. There are a few scary glowy lights on the front which should put off any rogue visitors. It comes with a wall mounting kit.
