Best food justice book available
I am teaching a new class on Food Justice and Policy. I've examined many books currently available for the class and this is by far THE BEST! Good systems thinking approach which is necessary for complex issues. Congrats to the authors!

Accessible and hopeful!
With language that is engaging and accessible, the authors de-mystify the agro-industrial complex and helped me understand that there are more sustainable alternatives to the status quo. Using examples of food systems that work today, they paint a picture of a future that takes the best of the global and local economies to forge a better way to live and eat, a future that excites me and gives me hope.

Well written with great information.
I don’t usually write reviews but felt strongly that I should for this important book. It really helped me understand food systems, what’s not going well and what can be done about it. The authors are charming. You will enjoy their writing.
