Excellent case and protection!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Spigen cases have always been some of my favorite for a long time. And you know what? Nothing’s changed. Actually, it’s even more enticing with the new buttons, style and texture. More on that is a little bit. If you’ve had a slim armor before, you know how great it is, but now it’s even better. The TPU feels nicer, the back panel is now made out of a grippy soft-touch material. And the buttons offer the perfect amount of ‘clickiness’. The buttons are actually different than the previous gen — protruding more with vertical slits along the verticals, and there is a new texture on the power button.The air cushion pockets on the inner corners are rounded off, and the kickstand is now very easy to pop open. You won’t feel like you’re going to break a fingernail anymore. The stand has a larger gap to get your nail into, and the corners are now a bit more rounded. The cutouts for the USB port, microphone and camera are standard fare, but the fingerprint sensor cutout is a little different. The sensor on the pixel 2 and 2 XL are much smaller than the original pixel, and Spigen knows this. They made the cut out just a little bit larger than the sensor, making the sensor feel larger than it is, and lets you perform those swipe gestures with ease.The front lip looks to be just over a millimeter in height, giving a decent buffer between your phone and the pavement in case of an impact, but if you wanted even more protection, the Tough Armor is nearly identical but in a larger form. I prefer this one because I don’t feel like carrying around a brick all day.

Great case, as always from Spigen. Very durable protection (already survived a couple drops). Doesn't make the phone too thick. I'm also able to fit a magnet for my windshield mount in between the two layers of the case. Like having a built-in kickstand...use it to watch netflix while on my lunch break.Only cons that make me knock it down a star is that the top layer of the case is starting to show scratches after only 4-6 weeks. Also, the kickstand is very flimsy. I haven't had any issues with the kickstand popping off, or not being able to hold the phone, but I can see it being a potential issue.

Great case

Really solid case, definitely adds bulk to the phone, but then I dropped in a car park it the other day it was unmarked, The cutouts for the camera, USB C socket and finger print sensor are perfect, the buttons work fine. The only slight downside is that you need to give the case a firm squeeze to get the Google Assistant to fire. That's an acceptable price to pay for the high level of protection this case provides. I would strongly recommend this case - its very impressive.

Really great case, honestly can't fault it. Good materials, good fit on the phone and a good lip at the front to protect the glass, even with a screen protector. Kick stand is also solidly constructed.Sadly, this case is actually not that slim at all. Obviously the thickness is to give the phone proper protection, but it really should not be called 'Slim Armor' with how much bulk it adds.

Well happy with this, slim and protects great, dropped phone a few times and no probs

This case is rugged and solid. It wraps nicely around my Pixel 2 XL.It does make the phone heavier and look bigger but that is to be expected, if it didn't I would worry that the case wouldn't do its job in the event of a drop.The phone now grips nicely in my hand.
