Does exactly what it says on the tin Really pleased with this cable. It’s well-made, easy to use, and works straight out of the box, no faff, no drivers, just plug it in and off you go. The 6ft length is spot on, giving you a bit of wiggle room without being excessive. Picture quality is crisp and stable, even when streaming in 4K. Ideal for connecting a laptop to a telly or monitor. Solid bit of kit at a decent price—can’t fault it

Defective cable, worked for maybe an hour after unboxing but then began endlessly screen-tearing no matter what device it was plugged into. Would not recommend.

I used the cable to connect my MacBook Air to my Samsung 55” TV in order to play a slideshow. Everything went fine except that a while after I disconnected the laptop and reverted to watching regular cable TV the picture showed a broad dark area running diagonally across the screen. I turned off the TV and unplugged the HDMI cable. After about 5 minutes I. turned the TV back on, the HDMI cable still unplugged, and I haven’t had any problems since. Needless to say I conclude the cable is defective.
