Replacement Ice Gel Packs for Cold Therapy Gloves and Socks(10-Piece Set), L

I’m currently undergoing chemo and the nurse recommended cold booties and mittens to help stave off neuropathy in my feet and hands. The SuzziPad item I purchased came complete with cold packs. It came with a bag to put cold packs in while freezing. The chemo that can cause neuropathy requires a 3 hour drip and during my first treatment the cold packs did not stay frozen the entire time. I purchased a second set of cold packs and now I change them out 1/2 way through the infusion of that specific medicine. They work very well! I have only had a slight tingling on the bottom of my feet; it does not last long and I have not had any sign of the tingling worsening. Highly recommend this and recommend purchasing a second set of ice packs if your use exceeds a couple of hours. The mittens are quite large but they work well.

Great choice! Easy to use and freezing last throughout my treatment.When applied during treatment the gloves fit comfortably on my hands and feet with the ice packs. I like that the both gloves for hands and feet had different compartments for ice packs to ensure complete coverage. I recommend this product!

(Updated my review: Originally 3 stars, but increased to 5 stars after the company reached out and offered a full refund due to the gloves not working. Great customer service!) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The good: the ice packs have some good lasting power. The bad: the gloves are just way too big to actually cool your finger tips. I have worn these once so far, just finished my first chemo treatment 3 days ago. The socks kept the ice tightly against my feet and I could tell they were working (not the most comfortable feeling, but the job was being done!) The gloves on the other hand are so big that they create a large cavity inside of the gloves where the ice isn't actually touching your hands or fingertips. I tried several times to hold the finger tips down to make contact, but it didn't help. After one treatment, I have burning and tingling in my hands, but not my feet. So this may work for people with larger hands! But not someone with XS glove size hands.

These worked pretty well. It would be nice if they lasted a little longer, but I read the comments so I pretty much knew what to expect. Sometimes people only get 30-60 minutes of chemo, but mine was 180 minutes, so it was a lot of changing them out. The thing I didn't like was that they saw me look up a few products a few times, so they knew that I was going to end up needing them. Within about 3 hours the price jumped by 25% which imo could be considered price gouging. You aren't allowed to take advantage of people in emergency situations, and I would consider this an emergency situation.

Great product. Easy to use and (hopefully) will have the desired results.

First used yesterday. They did the trick keeping cool and comfortable. I would recommend. The option to purchase additional packs is available and recommended for extended treatments

I bought two pairs of these and after first day of chemo figured out I did not need second set. These worked perfect during my chemo and I recommend them for everyone. The nurse told me to freeze the gel packs with the booties to make it easier each time. I had froze only the gel packs.

For me, too complicated to get to infusion center: have to keep the inserts frozen until needed, which, after travel, can easily be 2 hours after leaving home. Also very heavy including ice required to keep inserts from thawing. Final straw for me was that both hands and obe foot were too cold to use, even with the socks. Not worth the time or effort compared to just nurse-made crushed ice bags. Donated for someone else to try.

Shipment was a little under a week. The box looked had multiple stickers as if it was reused and upon opening we found only socks and no gloves. The socks were stained as if already worn.
