So I love my Dyson. They're a bit out of my price range, so I picked up a refurbished V10 animal a few years back. Unfortunately the battery life out of the box wasn't enough to handle my house, and it only got worse over time. I also got quite annoyed when the filter would get clogged, as I had to wash it and let it dry for a whole day. I dreaded vacuuming because I'd have take breaks for it to recharge again. I actually picked up a cheap vacuum for free on FB marketplace and have been using that. But this adapter has been an absolute game changer.Install was easy, and I already have a ton of DeWalt batteries, so I can easily vacuum the whole house without stopping (except to swap batteries). I also picked up a 4-pack of filters, so when the vacuum shuts down because of a dirty filter, I can easily swap it out for a clean filter instead of having to wash it and wait a day. Between those 2 items, my vacuum is running great and I can always count on vacuuming the whole house uninterrupted without issues. If you already have DeWalt batteries, buy this right now! I believe you can also find adapters for most of the major tool brands.

This adaptor installed and worked perfectly on my Dyson V10 that originally came with a 7-cell battery pack. The installation was smooth and easy because the adaptor is well-designed and accurate. My DeWalt 20v packs slid right on and the 4Ah pack allowed my Dyson to work in all modes including the “Max” setting.The only downside is my Dyson no longer fits in the floor standing charging rack, but perhaps I’ll decide to modify that in the future. I really like the ability to swap out battery packs when I run out of juice!Great product at a fair price!
