150W ELECTRONIC LOW VOLTAGE HALOGEN TRANSFORMER HD150-120

Replaced the burned out transformer in our Tiella track system with this. It fit perfectly and works great. Great price.

Wires could have been 4-6in. longer.

Used only 1hr, it broken. No power at all.

Tldr use 30 amp or less dulbs only. I bought a house with pendant lights in the kitchen that has this tranaformer. They worked great for years and then one bulb went out. I changed it and then few months later the transformer died. I replaced it with this and the new one died a few weeks later again. This happen 3 times and I called an electrician in and he was totally baffled about a mistierous 50volts when the switch was off he couldn't figure out, so after 3 hours he gave up and only charged me $150 said I need a new fixture. I bought one similar to the existing one and it had the same transformer. The manual said only use 30 am or less bulbs. I realized the first bulb I replaced with 50amp. Sent the new fixture back, bought 20 amp bulb and transformer and the original light fixurer has been working perfectly for over 6 months. I give three stars because transform description/ manual should make this clear
