Golden Ninja Warrior [DVD]

Sublime! If you like a good "bad movie", this and a lot of other great work from Godfrey Ho have you covered.It's certainly something from a forgotten time. A certain scene with Sherri is quite uncomfortable to watch, but everything else was spectacular, albeit quite confusing. I'll remember this film forever, and this DVD will get many spins.Searching "Godfrey Ho" on Amazon Prime Video actually nets you a lot of similiar films like this that are equally good to watch with friends.

I am reminded of Ed Wood's, Plan 9 From Outer Space, and the lines,"you Earthlings are, stupid, stupid, stupid!"... and this Movie, is,STUPID, STUPID, STUPID... This is the climax, to Godfery Ho's GoldenNinja Warrior, Saga... And it hardly makes sense. Sadly. We have noRichard Harrison in it... But don't worry... this movie, has all thehallmarks of GH's other great ninja, films... Stupid plot. Stupidaction. And mind blowing. Stupid dubbing... I really don't know, whatthe story is about... nor do I care. Because, niether did Godfery Hocare, about plot and story... But like Plan 9 From Outer Space, youhave to see Golden Ninja Warrior, before you die. WHY?... Because,it is, STUPID. STUPID. STUPID!...

A very good dvd

This film is basically insane. Plot wise it's hard to follow. The inserted Ninja scenes are very badly done which adds to the madness. My favourite scenes are with Eagle and Eric, they remind me of Benny Hill's old sketch of a really badly made film. Eric's voiceover is terrible but "Bill Brown" the Asian steals the biscuit, he sounds like a mash up between Beavis and Butthead.At the start of the film it says were in Hong Kong but you can see a sign saying "Bangkok". The Ninja girl seems to moonlight as a model or something and she strips off a bit but the whole film reminded me a lot of the aforementioned Benny Hill. Toward the end the Ninja girl was looking like Wonderwoman.The fight scenes are cr*p and Richard Harrison is only in the opening credits, he would have brought some class to the rest of it.As I have said before Godfrey Ho's Ninja rubbish is better than anything Hollywood has produced in the last 20 years so I would highly recommend this and really any other of Ho's films. Sure I'm getting 7 in the post during the week so I have hours of entertainment ahead of me!Another bad goodie!!!

This film is a timeless classic!!it has everything a film could ever need-Richard Harrison-Black Ninjas-Hot Babes-Red Ninjas-Hot Ninja Babes-A classy plot-Moustaches-High Octane Action-Awesome dubbing-Stupid amounts of nudity-Ninjas-Swords-Super awesome Ninja powersif you have never watched a 'so bad its funny' film this is where you need to start. i watch this after a few beers and im in tears. i also advise anyother film by the company that produce this beast. there cheap tacky fun and i love them :D

Great movie

Amazing Godfrey Ho ninja action. What more do I have to say? What more could you want (well more Richard Harrison) but yeah! Ninjas! Golden statues!

Good. A little too trashy for my taste.Good fight scenes.

If this is not the most ridiculous martial arts film ever made, it's got to be close. Avoid this like the asian flu.

classic mishmash joseph lai/godfrey ho work, at least 2 movies were merged to make one... lots of stock richard harrison footage... terrible editing.the best part about this movie is how a good chunk of it is sped up so it looks like a terrible benny hill sketch. and you already know the voice work will be hilarious.oh, i almost forgot. be prepared for rape. lots and lots of rape. and full female nudity. i have ZERO idea who their intended audience was, it seems to be incredibly childish at times... geared towards 11 year old boys... and then the rape starts... and then fighting... and then sex... and then fighting... and then more sex... and then sex... and back to fighting... and then the movie ends.it's kind of hard to swallow. if this was rated by the MPAA i'd guess it'd get an NC-17 rating.
